Другие важные подробности
If you come by car, there are some toll car parks around the the (URL HIDDEN) takes only 2 minutes by walking. So if you rent a car and drive to the house, it is possible to use it and trip in Kyoto by car. I had guests with cars and they enjoyed the way as well:)
・No shoes inside
Hi, welcome to Kyoto! I was born in Kyoto and grew up at this house. My family moved to a smaller place because our situation started to change as my sister got married and my parents got older. That gave me an opportunity by chance to start Airbnb to share our house.
So my house is not imitation. That's why I have only a listing. I don't rent someone's houses to my guests. It is purely Japanese traditional property where all the necessary amenities are left as when we lived. This is the truly Japanese wooden house.
The house is very accessible to Fushimi-Inari-shrine which is known as the most popular spot all over Japan.
And it takes only 10 minutes by railway between the nearest train station and the downtown GION where "Geisha" walk around.
It is also good to visit Nara( Oldest capital) and Osaka for one day trip while staying in Kyoto. We local go to Nara & Osaka and come back in a day too. It does not take 1 hour to reach them.
Kobe and Hiroshima are good options as well for a day trip if you have JR pass which is a free pass for bullet train.
The whole house with many rooms is completely your own private space, not shared with other guests.
The unique point is an authentic Japanese style house where I had grown up. It is different from a stylish and modern house with concrete or white wall like western style. But if you want to have your own private space and experience a real Japanese wooden house, that is nice.
Enjoy the beautiful history & culture of Kyoto!
From he nearest train station with Keihan & Kintetsu railways, it takes 10 minutes to Kyoto station or Gion-shijo station which is the busiest downtown in Kyoto. You can walk to the station from the house.
And there is also a bus stop 2 minutes walk away from the house. The bus directly goes to Kyoto station or Fushimi inari shrine which is the most famous place in Japan by Trip advisor
So...For sightseeing main spots around Kyoto,Osaka & Nara, it is quite useful with transportation! Hope you have the beautiful days at this memorial house!
