Cute bungalow in a quiet, safe & pet-friendly neighborhood one street behind main thoroughfare Patton Avenue (which takes you everywhere--downtown, highways, and all must-see sites) yet quiet thanks to wooded lot & only one neighbor. Walk to artsy, locals-haven West AVL; downtown is only 3 miles away; and only 6 miles to Biltmore. Beer lovers: hops in the fridge to dunk in your beer! Space has everything needed for a nice getaway + I'm a travel writer so I love giving customized recommendations.
Built in 1925, this home has been converted into a duplex-style layout. Your apartment has a private covered porch with porch swing, lots of windows, 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom with tub and shower, Wi-Fi, and a living room with a pull-out couch for additional guests.
A small kitchenette area has the essentials including hops to dunk in your beer (it's delicious!) waiting in the small fridge plus a coffee maker, electric skillet, small crockpot, dishes, toaster, utensils, cutting board, and pub table so you can cook up easy meals during your stay (WNC Farmers Market is 2 miles away and open 7 days a week from 8am-5pm). You're also welcome to use our Weber grill. The living room area has a 50-inch television and DVD player. Local coffee, coffee sweeteners, hot chocolate and teas will be provided as well.
Four breweries/cideries are located in West Asheville (UpCountry Brewing, Oyster Brewing Co., New Belgium, and Urban Orchard Cider) and 5 music venues (UpCountry, Odditorium, Isis Restaurant, The Mothlight, and Grey Eagle) and the Malvern Hills public pool located 1 block away at 75 Rumbough Place that is only $3 per person, per visit. Regular pool hours are noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; noon to 6 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call the pool at ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
We've also gathered lots of brochures and information about the best things to do during your stay. We love craft beer (who doesn't in Asheville aka Beer City?!) and have a small area dedicated to the love of beer with a few books, local beer maps and some smaller tasting glasses as well as local Growlers (a 64-ounce and a 32-ounce glass jug) that you can utilize during your stay and take to local breweries to get filled with draft beer. We also love to swap pick-six packs with guests, so if you'd like to swap, let us know after booking.
Entrance to the famous Blue Ridge Parkway (one of the most scenic drives in the world) is also only 8 miles away. The closest skiing, Cataloochee Ski Area, is 35 miles away and white water rafting, ziplining, and hiking are even closer. Hominy Creek trail is nearby and provides a pleasant waterside trail.
Wi-Fi, front yard, covered porch, 2 private parking spots, and first time Airbnb users, use this link https://www.airbnb.com/invite?r=34 for $25 travel credit.

We are available for any questions, recommendations, or needs right next door, but we will leave you to enjoy your vacation privately otherwise. There is a lock box located inside the storm door to the upper right that you will get the code to once you book to make checking in and out a breeze. If you'd like to grab a beer on the porch, just let us know.
Другие важные подробности
The first pet is free, but we do charge an additional, one-time fee of $25 per stay, per pet for guests with more than one. The apartment is about 600 square feet. There is no sink in the kitchenette area, only in the bathroom. An alarm clock with USB and outlets is located on the nightstand and a power strip behind the microwave to charge your devices.
Please park in the gravel driveway closest to the tree line and head down the driveway to the stone pavers that cut over to the sidewalk toward the front of door (we enter the house from the driveaway/french doors). We ask that you be respectful of our neighbors and keep your volume down after 11pm. Plus, we are right next door and will appreciate it too! Please treat it as you would your own home and leave the home as you found it. Text us when you leave so that we know we can come in and prepare the space for our next guests. Thank you!
