The owner responded quickly and provided enough information and tips for us before the start. She speaks good English and of course French (it might be another language too). Communication was very clear and fast. The apartment is few minutes walking to city center. There are a lot of good bakeries for amazing French bread, croissants and other pastries within a minute or two away. Same is true for grocery store and many amazing coffee places. We loved the 5min walk to the city center to a fresh market (local stuff: pastries, bread, fruits, vegetables, drinks, meat and cheese products... TOP!). There is 1-2 minute walk to the coast where you can walk any time of the day along the coast of Ajaccio. Perfect location. The apartment is a bit rustic/art style, which we loved a lot. Sleeping rooms have their own balcony and are facing east, which offers a great sunrise start of the morning. There is an amazing dining room with lots of windows and balcony as well, where you can enjoy sunrise and sunset view of the sea and Ajaccio coast as well as green threes round the building. The breakfast behind the table in this room will be very memorable for all of us forever. Driving toward the west coast from apartment there are lots of nice beaches along the way and at the end after 15-20min drive there is a hiking trail along the west coast with few amazing sunset point. Breathtaking! Ajaccio is a great starting point toward Piana/Porto on west coast to watch amazing cliffs and landscape as well as toward Bonifacio on East/South end to see its fortress on a cliff… Very recommended stay indeed. Thank you Anne and Paul.
