The apartment was great, very nicely decorated and clean, exactly like in the pictures. It was also very well stocked, Raffaele provided us with everything we could need from towels, blankets and iron to hairdrier and toiletries. He also left us plenty of food for breakfast, including beverages.
The apartament is a bit up the hill, but the view from the window/terrace is amazing. To get to the beach there are, besides the main road, 3 shortcuts, the first one starting in front of the house. It takes around 15 minutes to get to Marina del Cantone. Also, the path to Baia di Ierano (which I strongly recommend to see) starts right outside the house. The closest restaurant, Villarena, is 3 minutes down the road (if you take the shortcut). We ate there twice and the food is good.
We didn't have a car, but I don't think you need one to get around Nerano. The bus station is 1 minute from the house.
Raffaele is a nice host, he quickly answered all our questions and helped us get around.
All in all, it was a great experience and I recommend Raffaele's place and Nerano.
