Located in a very quiet and commercial neighborhood of the city, many State Run agencies and business offices are located here; with a range of 'pintxos bar', restaurants and 'vinotecas' (wine specialized bars), supermarkets, all kind shops, banks, post officce, health service centres & hospitals, parks & river, biking roads and the Donostia's Sports City. In addition, it´s a perfectly communicated area with Central Bus Station, trains & taxis. It is the main entrance of the city with AP-8 (heading east & west) & GI-131 (heading south) exits and entrances nearby. Inner city and all touristic-historic spots within 10-15 minutes walk and/or five minutes by bus (1.4 €).
San Sebastian is a slow tasting city, superbly oriented to locals and visitors, achieving it apparently (recommended by TimeOut, 2nd highest density of Michelin stars worldwide, widely considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world, etc.). (email hidden) to stay becomes a must. Walk, stare politely, smell, talk to locals and interact with all what the city has to offer. There´s a pleasant surprise in every single corner of the city!
European Capital of Culture 2016, those are some of the most attractive film & music festivals:
San Sebastian International Film Festival
Horror and Fantasy Film Festival
Human Rights Film Festival
Hope you´ll find here, a place that perfectly fits your needs while your stay in San Sebastian.
PD: I do prefer to just rent a room but those who need the entire apt. are wellcome as well
