Lovely, rambling 19th century home. Walk to downtown Brattleboro: the Co-op, bookstores, museums, galleries, cafes, Amtrak, hiking. Close to highway. Circus School or SIT workshop students welcome! Queen bed, private half-bath, shared shower, wifi, kitchen access.
My home is a lovely old house on a pleasant street, a ten minute walk to a downtown that offers restaurants, coffee shops, a theater, museums, galleries and bookstores.
You are welcome to make yourself at home here in the kitchen, dining and living rooms. There will be coffee in the morning; you can share the kitchen. Shared outdoor space for nice days!

My house contains two apartments; we are on the second floor. The room we are offering is in our apartment on the second floor: private room, queen size bed, private half-bath, shared shower.
Small pets are welcome. Smoking outside.
My partner, Mary Diane, and I are happy to welcome you to our comfortable home. I am a retired Unitarian Universalist minister; M.D. is a serious gardener, tractor jockey and kid magnet. She is completing a degree in child development. I moved back to Vermont in 2013 after decades away. Over the years I've lived in New Mexico, Massachusetts and Maine, as well as San Francisco and Brooklyn. M.D. has been in New Hampshire, Vermont and Florida.
I have two grown children: one teaching school in NY, the other a circus performer all over the world. I am busy building a boat here in Vermont, and also a partner in a Real Estate office in Brooklyn.
We find that offering our spare bedroom to people looking for a friendly place to stay is a perfect use of our house. We play music, so there are guitars, a uke and a washtub bass here for anyone inclined to play!
We have hosted guests from all over the world and enjoy the diversity and energy they bring to our home.
