Oslo is a hilly city and Kampen is one of the lowest situated housing areas, to which you actually can walk from the central station. The area is one of the oldest in Oslo, and the building I live in is from 1890, which means both doors and slabs make sound. Apart from that the neighborhood is very calm for being in a downtown location, and there's little traffic in the streets. The room is small as described in the listing, but the bathroom is big and spacious. The walk to the metro which takes you anywhere in Oslo is 6-8min. Bus 60 stops in my street. The Munch Museum is a 15 min walk, and the Opera 15-20min. walking distance.
