We have a newly renovated suite in our private home. We are just a few blocks from UM's central campus, the Law School and Medical Center; two blocks from the Nichols Arboretum; two miles to the football stadium; on a quiet tree-lined residential street in the Oxbridge neighborhood. The suite has a lovely bedroom with two twin beds (new pillow-topped mattresses, duvets, and William Sonoma bedding), two big windows with light blocking shades and custom curtains, a well-stocked bookcase, and a large closet. It also has a small sitting room with two comfortable chairs and ottomans, a Video/DVD player (the TV has no independent reception), wifi access, small refrigerator and electric kettle. A new, lovely, marble accented bathroom with a marble-tiled shower stands between these two rooms. The suite has its own staircase (from the kitchen), and is separated from the rest of the house by a door and short hallway. We want you to feel as if you are staying at a lovely small hotel while you are here. We can provide you with a coffee maker upon request.
Their entire suite. Some kitchen access is negotiable, for eating take-out meals, or heating up something in a microwave/oven, but not for elaborate cooking.
Общение с гостями
We are almost always here during visits. We look forward to welcoming you, directing you to great restaurants and cafes, and lovely running or walking routes. You'll have my cell phone to call at any time as well.
Другие важные подробности
We have a beautiful mid-sized mystery mix rescue dog named Ella. She is not allowed in your suite but you may have to say hello to her as you arrive and leave our house, so if you dislike or are uncomfortable around dogs, this may not be the ideal place for you.
We have been fortunate to have universally polite guests since we have been hosting through airbnb these last few years. We appreciate it when guests remove their shoes and leave them at the bottom of the private stairs going up to their suite--it keeps the rugs looking lovely for our next guests! We appreciate that you not smoke, make a great deal of noise, or damage the space in any way. If you bring a take out dinner home, we'd prefer you to eat it in our kitchen, especially messy foods like pizza.
Beyond that, we look forward to hosting you!
