This home is a large, turn of the century Italianate with 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths that has been fully renovated and updated. It is nestled in a quaint, small southern Iowa town with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
Most of the local community residents refer to this house as the Doze house. J.E. Doze was a former State Senator of Iowa and owned the first Ford dealership in Wayne County. No expense was spared when the house was built and as a testament to the workmanship of craftsmen in 1908, the house is solid as a rock. 10 foot ceilings, pocket doors and ornate woodwork are all features of this house, and the property on which it stands covers roughly 1 acre.
Guests will have full access to the house and all of its amenities. Guest need to bring nothing but themselves and their wares. A local supermarket is within walking distance which features locally grown and prepared beef that is outstanding in quality. If preparing food is not your thing, a couple local eateries are also within walking distance from the house.

We like to use the golden rule as an example of our expectation for guests using the house. Treat the house and its amenities like you would want someone to treat your own house.
