Very convenient to live here if you plan to visit museums in Houston, all in walking distance. And it is a great place for the price. My sister had a wonderful experience while living here, Myself, however, as allergic to a lot of stuff, got eczematous rashes. If you prefer a super clean place like a hotel, you should consider a hotel instead. Michael is a nice host as he allowed us to stay there until we checked out around 10:00pm. I must thank Michael for this.
Another thing I must mention is the bug problem. Michael was not at home when we got there, and he told us one roommate, Tony, will open the door for us in advance. My sister and I booked the artistic room for two of us, Tony said Michael offered us another room on the second floor without extra charges. I also wanted to live in the new room as it got a lot of sunshine. But then we found tiny worms on the blanket in the new room. At first, I am not sure if I can report this to Tony directly as he is only one roommate, and this problem might cause disturbance to him. So I reported this problem to Michael immediately, but he NEVER replied to me. Then I had to report this problem to Tony, who had been helping us all the time. Tony start to deal with this problem immediately and we changed back to the original room we booked. I believe Michael offered us the new room out of pure good intentions, which we really appreciate it. But I really do not understand why he never replied to us, not even a word like "I am sorry about this, Tony will address this issue on my behalf ", Even if Tony addressed this problem on his behalf, I think it would be polite to reply to my message when he is available, as it is an unpleasant incident after all. I mention this because I felt uncomfortable about it at that time for some reason, even though Tony has helped us a lot on Michael 's behalf. I know I will forget this just like my rashes are almost gone after I got home, and I am still feeling lucky to have a helpful roommate like Tony at that time .
