Manuela was a wonderful host. We were greatly delayed getting to the apartment, but she was there, waiting for us at 1:00 a.m. We are so grateful for that, and for her good explanation of how things worked in the apartment, where we could get coffee, catch the subway, and get cash. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. It is attractive, too, and has a cute balcony for outdoor sitting. It is exactly as the pictures show it to be, and it is super convenient, just around the corner from the subway, and within steps of cafes and a big street for shopping. The tree-lined street is lovely. I would say, though, that it is not a truly quiet apartment. The street is noisy, but just from cars and the occasional bus. If you are a city dweller, this will probably not bother you at all. The school yard below the apartment gets noisy when the children come to school, and when they go out to play. But these are happy noises, and not disturbing. Anyway, you will probably be away from the apartment seeing the sights when school is in session. We had a lovely time in Manuela's delightful loft apartment, above the canopy of beautiful, green trees.
