Recent construction, non-smoking top floor unit with a penthouse, 3 outdoor spaces (including a rooftop penthouse patio) and a modern, stylish interior, in the heart of central Williamsburg!
There are two bedrooms and one full bath, as well as an eat-in kitchen, cozy living area with flat-screen and high quality audio. The master bedroom, located on the main level, includes a queen bed and a small writing desk, with a small patio. The second, penthouse bedroom is located upstairs and has a full bed and dresser, as well as a large private outdoor space. There is no door to the penthouse, but instead you enter through a winding staircase so there is privacy from below and decent noise isolation.

I'll most likely be out of town when you're visiting. I may use a key exchange service or a friend to coordinate keys and handle emergencies. You'll have to place to yourself.

Depending on the day, I may be able to accommodate more flexible check-in or check-out.
The apartment is on the fourth floor, and sadly, there is no elevator in the building.
There are two washers and and two dryers in the basement, free for residents.
Make yourself comfortable! Please be mindful of the neighbors and make sure not to leave luggage in the common areas. This is a non-smoking apartment. Please do not smoke anywhere inside or even outside. I have had several valid complaints from my neigbors about smoking and cigarette butts landing on their balconies, and I have to be very strict about not permitting smoking anywhere. On request from my neighbors I don't rent to guests without established online reputation on airbnb.
The apartment is not toddler-proof.

I love big cities, remote places in the middle of nowhere, my car, noisy music, books about cognitive biases, desert sunlight, the nightlife, foreign languages, computer languages, travel and more.
I grew up in Poland and came to the US for grad school. San Francisco has been home for the past 12 years or so, but nowadays I also spend some of my time in New York.
