RHINEBECK AND SURROUNDING AREAS:
Spend a weekend, week or month in a charming Hudson Valley town, full of history, galleries, boutiques, bookstores, a movie theater, spas, as well as, casual and fine dining.
The house is a two block walk into town and three blocks from the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, home of the renowned Dutchess County Fair and host to a variety of events, such as craft and antique shows, car shows, the Sheep and Wool Festival and a variety of other events.
To the South is Hyde Park, home of the historic Vanderbilt Mansion, the home and library of Franklin Roosevelt, the Culinary Institute with its various restaurants, and antique shops along Route 9.
Bard College is to the north and features many cultural events, music at the Frank Gehry designed Fisher Center, as well as films, art shows and outdoor events.
Tivoli is a delightful little town just north of Bard College where you can find an assortment of restaurants: Mexican, Japanese, Tapas, Continental, Vegetarian.
Traveling further north about 20 miles is Hudson, a very old and historic town with over seventy antique shops and galleries and some very interesting restaurants. There is also the Club Helsinki, which features acts and musicians from all over the world.

Our folk art filled home is decorated with antiques, masks, kilims and art. These are very sentimental items that we would like our guests to both enjoy and respect. We ask that they not be damaged or removed. We ask that you return the house to us in the same condition as you found it. Enjoy and thank you for choosing us! Absolutely no smoking in the house or on the porches. No pets.
Pamela and Navin are a multicultural couple who have lived in the Hudson Valley for over thirty years. Pamela is a designer, avid folk art collector who believes in historic preservation and renovates old homes and buildings for adaptive reuse; Navin, a native of India, is a consultant in marketing and Data Analytics and is an avid lover of music and film. They love traveling and cultural immersion. They have found the Hudson Valley to be a melting pot for creative spirits and interesting people from all walks of life! Welcome to the Hudson Valley!
