High Life at the IOP! This privately owned condo at The Ocean Inn is wonderfully decorated and immaculately maintained. There is a king bed, sitting area with sofa, and eating space in the main room with an adjoining kitchen area and full bath. The adorable kitchen has essentials - coffee maker, microwave, toaster large refrigerator, and a full compliment of dishes. The bathroom has been updated to include tile and glass. You can tell this retreat is well loved by many from all over the country as you read the different destination decals on the creative entryway wall. (Please bring a decal from your home town to add to it!) Pet-friendly - fees will be applied after the reservation is made if not itemized beforehand. Fee is $20 per night per 40#. Please advise regarding the size of the pet. Min number of nights required. Need a shorter stay? Please inquire. If we can accommodate your request, we will be happy to.

High Life at the IOP! This privately owned STUDIO condo is wonderfully decorated and immaculately maintained. There is a king bed, sitting area with sofa, and eating space in the main room with an adjoining kitchen area and full bath. Provided in this small but serviceable kitchen is a large toaster oven, regular toaster, microwave, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, and single-eye counter-top induction cook-top.  The cook-top requires steel-bottomed pans for it to operate and one 2-qt soup pot is provided.   Plates, bowls, silverware, coffee cups...also provided.  There is no oven/stove combination but there are small appliances to meet the needs of preparing simple meals in your condo.

The bathroom has been updated to include tile and glass and has plenty of counter space.

You can tell this retreat is well loved by many from all over the country as you read the different destination decals on the creative entryway wall. (Please bring a decal from your home town to add to it!)  Even though this condo is located on the back side of the Ocean Inn condominium complex, you can still hear the waves off the beach at night. Free parking onsite. Coin laundry facilities, two grill areas and small private pool for use by guests of our complex. It's a 5-min walk to the beach and some of the best restaurants on the Island. Close to the Isle of Palms Connector so it's a quick trip to Mt Pleasant or 25 minutes to downtown Charleston.

Guests will receive email from Waterview Property Management 7 days before arrival with specific instructions for entry. Parking passes are required and are also sent by email. Check in is 4pm, check out is 10am. Because there are always maintenance needs in our properties, check in times are not always flexible regardless of availability on the previous nights of arrival. If by chance the property is ready early, you will receive a text either the day before or the day of arrival. We do try to allow early access when we can.

** Please contact owner/manager directly if you have questions regarding this property.
** Rates are subject to change before reservations are confirmed.
** Refunds are given if cancellation is requested more than 30 days before arrival. Please refer to cancellation policy for full details.
** Check-in is 4pm. Check-out is 10am. These times are not usually flexible due to cleaning company requirements.
** Many of our properties are pet friendly. Guests may see or hear the pets of others during their stay. If this causes any inconvenience, please contact a property manager so that any avoidable issues may be addressed.
** PET FEES are $20 PER NIGHT. This must be calculated into fees at the time of the reservation. ** Guests are responsible for adhering to pet policies and Isle of Palms pet ordinances. Pet policy is part of the contract. We provide this information to all guests so all are aware of the expectations of pets on the premises.
** Your reservation is confirmed when the deposit is paid. Balance is due 30 days before arrival. Balances are deducted automatically from the card on file. In the event of payment failure, a grace period of 24 hours is given to remedy the payment.
** You will receive email 7 days prior to your arrival with essential check-in information, key code, pet policy reminder, and parking pass. Please print all documents and bring with you.
** All items available for your use - soaps, linens, towels, starter paper products - will be in your condo upon arrival. Routine linen and towel exchanges are not provided during your stay. If linens or towels need refreshing, there is an on-sight laundry for guests to use. Cost is $1.50 in quarters per load, washer or dryer. Guest is responsible for replacing their own paper and soap products if starter amounts are used during their stay. It is not necessary to replace these for future guests.
** All of our properties are NO SMOKING properties. Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please discard appropriately. Deposit will be forfeited and additional cleaning charges incurred if evidence of smoking indoors is found upon departure. THIS INCLUDES smoking by an open door or window so that smoke enters the condo. Please smoke away from these areas.
** Please dispose of cigarette butts - birds think they are food. We ask that you PLEASE do not throw them in the parking lot or the grass for someone else to pick up.
** Guests are responsible for following the Isle of Palms 10PM noise ordinance.

The Ocean Inn is "close enough but far enough away": Close enough to enjoy all the beach has to offer yet far enough away to enjoy quiet evenings outside your condo.

It's a 400' (1.5 blocks) walk from our driveway to the sidewalk on Ocean Blvd. We describe the immediate area as a triangle: if we are at one point, Ocean Blvd is at the second point, and The Windjammer is the third point. Walk along JC Long Blvd by The Windjammer and pass The Dinghey, Seabiscuit Cafe, and ACME Grill. Before you know it you'll be back at The Ocean Inn. To walk that distance (6-8 blocks?) at a normal pace will take about 10 minutes.

Night life isn't crazy here - but if there is a band at The Windjammer or live music playing on the deck at Coconut Joe's, it can get a little crowded and noisy on the beachfront. Just walk on back to your condo where it will be nice and quiet but you will still be able to hear the waves hit the beach. The IOP police and fire station are close by so you might hear a siren or two.
