- I have a service dog Henry and so welcome pets to my home, but please note as this is my home, please be respectful and tidy with your furry family members! I live in a Brownstone with lovely neighbors, but neighbors none the less, so please be respectful of them as well! Come, feel welcome and treat my home as you would hope one would treat yours!
I am a physical therapist, specializing in neurological patients - I consult at hospitals throughout the state of VA and find myself on the road M-F at a minimum! I want my home to be my sanctuary, peaceful and filled with things of meaning to me…whether that be family heirlooms or quirky art found whilst traveling! I love to eat and as Julia Childs once said "if you are afraid of butter use cream…!" Thus, my kitchen is filled with every gadget (and butter!) under the sun as I love to entertain. I want everyone to feel at home in my home. Relationships are important to me, if anything can be done to make your stay more enjoyable, please let me know! When I walk out the front door, I look to the right and see the Capitol. It reminds me how much I love this city and how grateful I am to live here! I hope you enjoy your time in DC as much as I! I am walking distance to 2 metro lines, (Red - Union Station, Blue/Orange Line - Eastern Market and Capitol South stations - a bit further), Union Station, the Eastern Market, the Capitol and Senate/House buildings. Down the hill of the Capitol 3 blocks away, lies the National Mall with the Smithsonian Museums awaiting! I am between the vibrant H Street and 8th Street corridors, both of which are teeming with restaurants and lively bars. At the end of the block is the adorable Stanton Park. In short, I love where I live and want you to feel at home and enjoy your stay as well!
