In 3 years we have been hosting. This has been the most frustrating experience with these guests.
We great all of our guests with a fruit basket! We make sure that there is Tea, coffee, honey and water at the condo before our guest check in.
Yes, this is an upstairs unit. It is clearly described in the listing! Why would you book this place if you can't go up the stairs? Uhm......
In 3 years of nothing but happy guests and great reviews, has anyone ever complained about the lighting, the utensils, or the Beds. There are plenty of cooking utensils unless they have been removed by someone else.... We are going to doublecheck with our property manager if indeed some things are missing.
The AC is brand new! It was actually serviced last month.
The Beds are purposely low. It is the style. We furnished modern. Again, don't you look at the listing and the pictures before booking (Website hidden by Airbnb)
As for a chair in the living room, it was in the master sitting area. Our previous guests usually move the chair to the living room when they need it.
Christine started complaining the minute she walked in. Where is the BBQ ?? BBQ are not allowed in the condos for safety reasons. If there are no BBQ in the property grounds, it's not our fault. But there still is 2 Tennis courts, 2 Pools, 1 Golf course, several Fruit Trees... But who cares, there is no BBQ !
She also complained at the Spectrum TV package. Why do we have so little TV channels? She demanded we upgrade to the Full package, with ESPN and more. Though we never order this package when the place is rented for such little time, we still did it, to be make her happy so Steve could watch the Baseball Playoffs.
This package is only available upon request and for an additional charge except it you stay for 30 days or more.
Anyhow, regardless of what we may have done to make Christine and Steve stay agreeable, it was not good enough.
There is a first to everything. I guess this was it !
