Relaxing and cozy cabin in the middle of the woods has all the comforts of home. Sit by the fire and watch the snow fall after a day skiing or plan your next day's hike while you sit out on the deck listening to the rushing creek. This 3-bedroom cabin has two bathrooms, upstairs and downstairs decks and a river-rock gas fireplace.
No smoking. Please don't turn the knobs inside the trap door on the fireplace. If you accidentally shut off the pilot light and the service man has to come out to relight it, there will be a $50 relighting charge, which will make both of us sad. Housekeepers' number is in the guest book for emergencies as well as the owner's number. Also, since fires are always a concern in the Methow Valley, no open fires are allowed.

Hello, I'm a writer and artist who loves to spend time either at my cabin in the Methow Valley or at my cozy quiet cottage in the Seattle-Tacoma suburbs. At either place, I love being surrounded by nature -- splashing water, trees, birds. In the suburbs, I'm close to all the benefits of city entertainment, as well as close to recreational areas for sports. In the Methow, there is nothing like winter snow and skiing along the Methow Valley Community Trail, close to the cabin or listening to Fawn Creek from the deck when spring brings life to the valley again. In addition to the published book I wrote, I'm a script writer, a writing coach and a doctoral student. I'm a native of Washington, my family having moved here before statehood. Even though I've lived a number of places around the world, the beauty of the Northwest always calls me home.
