Our home is just three blocks away from beautiful Crescent Beach. Three bedrooms and two baths sleeps 6 people comfortably. Master bedroom has direct access to lanai. Screened in lanai features heated pool, grill and lounge area. Enjoy your paradise!


Our home is a quick three block walk from beautiful Crescent beach. We provide a beach cart, beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler and towels for your convenience. This is the first season we are opening our newly renovated home for rental. It features an open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, and living/media room. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a brand new mattress and bedding. It also includes an attached bath, walk-in closet and direct access to lanai. The guest bedrooms, queen and twin, are located on the opposite side of the house and share a freshly renovated bathroom. The pool blueprint photos are the future pool to be built in the back of our house under a screened lanai complete with lounge chairs and an eating area . This will be completed by October 2014. We have a no smoking and no pet policy. House is installed with high speed wireless internet. Simply step into our home and surround yourself with paradise. The price includes Florida Tax.

Ted was amazing. My family had a great time at his home. The house was clean and has a great patio and pool. Plus it's only a 5 minute walk to have your toes in the ocean!

REVIEW OF 165 BEACHCOMBER STREET, MARCO ISLAND, FLORIDA 23 NOVEMBER-20 DECEMBER 2014. Our experience, as only the second renters of this property, for 27 days, was overshadowed by work that was ongoing to complete the pool, install lanai and to landscape the surrounding garden. The side and rear of the garden was in total upheaval with wooden crates of broken tiles and lengths of metal. There was no mention to my wife and I, prior to our arrival, this still had to be landscaped. The pool and lanai were advertised, with graphics and stated as being completed by September. Work on the lanai took place at the end of Novemeber. Rental of the property should not have been accepted before it was completely finished and met the advertised description. The owner mentioned the 10% Florida Tax in his description of the property but failed to include it in Airbnb’s calculator. The owner sought the additional 10% from us despite it being his mistake. We successfully negotiated to pay half. We were given the choice of debris continuing to fall into the pool, (the pool and patio were dirty on our arrival and unsafe underfoot), or lose a day and a half of its use while lanai was erected. We felt, for our comfort, we had no choice and opted for the lanai to be constructed. This caused further issues. Despite notifying the owner, Mr Edward Pidcock, residing in Massachusetts, that there were shards of metal from bore holes left all over the patio and we assumed in the pool, he did nothing to ensure the pool and patio were not a health and safety hazard. We told him that we had swept the area but could not get all of the shards that were lodged between patio tiles. In later correspondence, he said he was not told that a clean was required. This is the main concern any future renters will have to deal with. Mr Pidcock, provided no local contacts to respond to matters that required immediate action and relies on being informed by the tenant by phone or email. He is a very personable character but his offer of a clean three days before we left and nearly three weeks after the issue was drawn to his attention was cynical and very unprofessional. We sought compensation but felt we just wanted to enjoy our holiday. Mr Pidcock, offered a trip in a friends boat. We suggested he might waive our half of the Florida Tax but we were told we could have one or the other but not both. We accepted the boat trip and decided to draw a line under the matter. However, it is our opinion that Mr Pidcock took advantage of our accommodating stance and pursued his plans to develop the property, despite my warning him not to. Mr Pidcock had two Sun Loungers and cushions for furniture, delivered while we holidayed at his villa, these had to be unpacked by my wife and I...

Grace and John booked a 28 day stay at our property. I found them very personable and initially friendly people who left our property in good order. Unfortunately, our guests arrived to an unacceptable debris filled back yard (left by our pool contractor during construction) that was resolved within 24 hours of their arrival. Additionally, 8 days in advance of their arrival, they were offered a choice to have a pool screen enclosure installed (which would be a day and a half disruption in the pool area) or the screen enclosure could be installed after their vacation. They chose to have the screen enclosure installed during their stay. This was not necessary but I respected their wishes and proceeded with the install. They were generously compensated for both inconveniences with a choice of a private 3-4 hour boat cruise that I paid for and organized with a local Captain or a FL tax credit. They chose the boat cruise. Yet, any additional outdoor activity became a reason for John to complain and eventually request a large discount after his departure. According to John, their peaceful Holidays were ruined as a result of two additional visits by outdoor lawn activity and maintainance. This accumulated to a grand total of 3-5 hours of outdoor lawn activity. As their stay continued, I truly feel John's goal was to magnify anything he could completely out of proportion in an attempt to obtain a further discount whether it was a broken downspout being repaired or a pool service technician knocking on the door to make sure all was well with the pool. Admittedly, our pool contractor fell behind on our pool construction and that created unacceptable disruptions. John and Grace were well compensated and in a creative way that I thought would make their vacation more memorable. Instead, a list of petty grievances with a demand for an additional large unwarranted discount is how I was repaid. I would not rent to them again under any circumstances.
