Luxury and views await in this well appointed 900 s.f. apt. En-suite bedroom has a steam shower with radiant heat floors. Located atop Chehalem Mountain in Oregon wine country, guests are greeted with wine and fruit. We provide light breakfast items, milk, coffee, teas and personal essentials. Cook on the grill outside, build a fire in the fire-pit and sip some wine before stepping into the hot-tub (large enough to accommodate 6 comfortably). We have thought of everything - come and relax.

I enjoy traveling. Like being near public transportation - center of a city so I can get to museums, concerts, opera, plays - anything cultural easily. Food, fabulous restaurants and great drinks are always on the agenda. I enjoy meeting people/hosts but am also happy to be on my own.
Have lived in NYC, New Orleans, London and now...wine country of Oregon. Newberg is the gateway to OR wine country and we really enjoy all that OR has to offer in the way of people, landscape, hiking, just the physical beauty of the place. The wine industries and the fine dining are just wonderful.
My husband completes a marathon each year, I use to do a sprint triathlon each year. We are active: cycle, walk, hike, read, drink wine and eat out. I use to have a staging business but now just run a local non-profit theater company here in Newberg. I work as director, writer, and/or producer on our productions. On occasion, I act -- sometimes in my own one woman shows.
Our property is about 5 acres so we are constantly at work on thinning the trees. We both enjoy the company of animals and have 2 large overly friendly dogs.... which is why we discourage guests from bringing their pets. It hasn't always worked out in the past.
As a guest: knowing where to have a special walk or hike, some secret places you know about and no one else does...maybe a small cafe or speakeasy -- we love to explore those sorts of places.
