Stay in this sunny four-bedroom home and you're ready to take advantage of the best the city offers. A short walk away from parks, restaurants, and sightseeing opportunities, we're centrally located with easy access to public transportation.
Our sunny, spacious four-bedroom home combines the best of both worlds for travelers. It's in a quiet and elegant neighborhood in the center of town, but only a short walk away from some of the best sightseeing the city has to offer, including the historic Haight-Ashbury district, Golden Gate Park, Twin Peaks, the Castro, and elegant Cole Valley.
We're only a few short blocks away from many fine restaurants, wine bars, and stores. Just down the street is the Randall Children's Museum, a basketball court, a dog park, and two tennis courts. Runners, hikers, and wanderers will appreciate the many surrounding parks - two are only a block away and offer spectacular views of the city. We're also up the hill from Golden Gate Park, which stretches all the way to the ocean, and down the hill from the famous Twin Peaks, which offers 360 degree views, and neighboring Sutro Forest, where you can hike through a rainforest.
All that plus easy access to public transportation - getting downtown takes only 10 minutes on Muni. Or you can take it in the other direction to the beach.
The house was built in 1915 and has been renovated over the years to allow for several comforts, including modern bathrooms and big sunny sit-in kitchen, good for groups who love to cook or just hang out together. Located on a corner lot on the top of a hill, it gets lots of light, and looks out on the southern part of the city.
There's a sunny protected terrace in front of the house - just right for reading the morning paper. And a bricked-in patio out back with four chairs and a coffee table is perfect for lunch al fresco or cocktails.

We're a family of four. Our oldest son has graduated from college and is working and our youngest is a student at UC Berkeley. That leaves only two of us at home so it's nice to be able to share our house. We love this neighborhood - lots of hiking options, nearby coffee shops and wine bars, restaurants, spectacular views, and friendly neighbors. We often bike through Golden Gate Park to the beach, stopping off occasionally to go to the Japanese Tea Garden (seriously, we love this place) or the De Young Museum. Getting downtown is an easy hop on Muni, which is very easy to walk to from here. There's plenty of street parking available, too. We look forward to getting to know you and hope you enjoy our home and this beautiful neighborhood as much as we do.
