I retired from the state of Texas a few years ago having worked at UT, the TX Railroad Com., and TYC State School for Youth. I have recently painted many of the interior rooms in my home and am currently updating the landscaping. I enjoy watching several species of birds and hiking on a one-mile hike & bike which is walking distance from my home.
I spend a good deal of time with my parents in the Texas hill country and enjoy volunteering for PALS, a division of Meals on Wheels in Austin.
My favorite travel destination is Victoria, B.C. and I have a close friend in Vienna I plan to visit more now that I'm retired.
