Правила дома

1) The main entrance of the apartment opens 24 hours, but please avoid going in and out at midnight. It may cause a suspicion by neighbors depending on your behavior.
2) I lend you a door key of my house. You can go in/out freely anytime. Don't forget to lock the door when you go out and come back. The door key is the property of the apartment, should you lose the key, you have to pay me 10,000 yen and I have to replace the whole unit finally. It costs 100,000 yen. So, please be careful to treat it.

1) As I usually leave home at 8:00 am, I leave simple breakfast for you. You can use the kitchen and kitchenware. Please clean up after you finish.
2) I will not be able to serve lunch and dinner either. There are many inexpensive restaurants nearby. You can also have takeout food.
3) I am pleased to have dinner with my guests for entertainment by mutual consent.
4) Please don't use the kitchen for cooking dinner by yourself at late night that disturbs my sleeping.

1) Please wear slippers provided in the common area.
2) Please do not eat/drinks on the futon in your room.
3) Please do not drug your luggage to prevent damage on the floor.
4) Please separate garbage into recyclable plastics, bottles/cans and others using bins provided in the kitchen.

1) You may use the washing machine and detergent. A steam iron is available. Please feel free to ask me.
2) There is a dry cleaner's (shop) near by my place.

1) No smoking ABSOLUTELY (I had a lung cancer). Smoking on the street is also prohibited by the local government.
2) No pets allowed.

Dear Ejiro San, We felt very sorry for the hassle last night which even involved shelling some amount on your part. Despite that, you still managed to smile and most of all showed the unforgettable way of treating and welcoming us as part of your family. We really are in deep gratitude of your kindness and generosity and compassion. You are such a rare person whose good values are hard to emulate. We wish we could meet people like you in some other places. People like you make our world worth living and protecting for indeed this was God's true purpose for all of us. Your example has opened our eyes that indeed there are good people living in this part of the world. We thank God for allowing us to meet in you person and experience your kindness. God bless you! Raymond and Kit (Philippines) (You have such a wonderful place to live in. Aside from being safe and accessible to the railway system, other establishments such as cheap restaurants, supermarkets, vegetable and fruit stores, and parking area are also near your place thereby providing the needed convenience for travelling people.)

Eijiro's home is not far from the city centre, in a quiet residential neighbourhood, the kind of place we would never have seen if we hadn't had the pleasure of staying with him. The links to public transport were perfect for us to be able to explore Tokyo on our first two days in Japan. I'd particularly recommend Eijiro for anyone visiting Japan for the first time. It was lovely to have a host and a friend in Tokyo. We are so grateful for his kindness and the time we got to spend with him.

Second time visiting Toyota-san, and as usual it was so wonderful that I felt really sad leaving him. Toyota-san is THE BEST HOST I've ever found on airbnb, so gentle and available for everything we need for. Every day he prepared us these wonderful breakfasts with lots of things to eat, and he was very kind to us when we asked him what to visit and how to reach the best places in Tokyo. His place is very close to Shinjuku area, so it was also very easy to move inside the area without any hassle. He also gives us a mobile wi-fi hotspot, so we had the possibility to go online even when out of his home! I really hope to see him again in the near future, and in the meantime I can't stop saying thank you for your wonderful hospitality. See you soon, Toyota-san!

This was my third stay with Eijirosan. This time my husband came to meet Eijirosan and we had a wonderful stay. The location is convenient and the place is great for Japanese home experience. Above all, Eijirosan is incredible! I have a lot of respect and admiration for him. Eijirosan is now past 80 years old and has so much life experience and wisdom. I admit he is the reason that I choose to stay here instead of other places in Shinjuku. Eijirosan is very helpful in many ways, especially with providing directions on how to get to different places and making suggestions. He also provided breakfast everyday. We enjoyed watching his program on TV together and shared many good chats. I look forward to returning again. Eijirosan has a special place in our hearts :)

This was my first time traveling by myself and my first time not living in a hotel. And I started with one of the best hosts in Japan, so it's all downhill from here... All the other reviews cover everything, so I'll just quote Han Solo: "It's true. All of it."

What can I say about Oto-san that has not already been said? Mr Toyota is a gift, he is kind, generous and so incredibly thoughtful. He is truly an angel on earth and we are so lucky to have befriended him during our stay in Japan. He made our Tokyo experience such a memorable one, by guiding us, helping us with train times, and giving us plenty of advice on places to visit and how to get there. The accommodations are clean, the room is cute and it is in a very central location, which made it easy to get to places. His apartment is less than a minute walk to the train station! I would highly recommend Mr Toyota aka Oto-san to those of us that have been fortunate enough to meet him. He has become our Japanese father, and we will truly miss him.

I am 81, a retired engineer/researcher living alone in my apartment after my wife's death.
I remodeled one room to accept victims of Tsunami disaster in March 2011. After it terminated, I started to use the room for Airbnb. So, I can help them by sending the money as well as for poor children in Asian countries through NPOs.
I am usually quiet and like hearing music (classic to jazz) and reading books (history to mystery).
As I have no child and living alone, It is my pleasure to accept foreign guests and make them feel at home like as my family, my English is not so good though.
My motto is to do the best. Though I may not be able to take you out for sightseeing, I can prepare useful information and materials, such as a portable WiFi, TV and DVD for your entertainment.
But If you don't want to give me enough information about yourself (like "Hi I am xxx!" only) or prefer to stay like a hotel, I recommend you to find another place.
