We are very very positive and strongly recommend this villa and its owners for a stay in Ubud.
We had 10 wonderful days at the villa with my wife and our 3 kids (6, 8 and 10 years old). The house is very pleasant and nice, spacious, well furnished, rooms are well distributed and large, the 2 bedrooms and their bathrooms are large and well decorated. The swimming pool is very nice and large (I'd say 10 x 4.5m), the tropical garden too, very well maintained. The pictures on Airbnb reflect reality, probably reality is even better.
The villa is surrounded by ricefields in terrasses, there are some other houses here and there, it is a very very quiet and peaceful area - no noise at all, apart from the concert of frogs and cicadas at night which is just great!
The place is not directly accessible by car: it is
at a 6mn walking distance, on a cement / tar path (not dust!) accross the ricefields, from the Bintang supermarket, very convenient for anyone who would like to buy food and cook at the villa. I have read comments about this 6mn walk: it is not dangerous, even with kids, you just have to look at them and make sure they walk on the path. Ours actually loved opening the way and leading our group with torchlights (provided with the villa) when we were coming back at night (night starts early in Bali) - it was a very enjoyable little bit of adventure, we all loved it.
It is a 20mn walk from the villa to Ubud center, so quite close actually.
Julie and Imade, the owners, are very welcoming, friendly and great hosts. They helped us with the luggages (and we had some !) when getting in and leaving the villa, from and to Bintang supermarket parking - since the paths are made of cement / tar, the luggages can roll, ther are just a few steps to manage at the start. Julie and Imade have always been very reactive to answer our questions and help on any of our needs. Very welcoming and nice.
