Our sunny studio has a complete kitchen, hardwood floors in the sleeping area, a real comfy double bed, a large, curved modern shower and plenty of privacy, including a private deck, where you can sit and have coffee and listen to the birds or have an evening drink and watch the sunset. 15 minutes to Santa Cruz and 30 minutes to Monterey. Dogs are welcome, and the neighborhood is a dog walking paradise. The dog friendly beautiful Seascape Beach, where the dolphins play, is 10 minutes away!
View of rolling hills and beautiful trees (cypress, eucalyptus, black walnut and oak). In less than 10 minutes, you can be at the stunning Seascape Resort beach. We are in-between downtown Santa Cruz and Moss Landing/Monterey, so day trips to the aquarium in Monterey, kayaking in Moss Landing and the best Santa Cruz surfing beaches are easy! Our own Aptos Village is welcoming, walkable and features some wonderful restaurants.
The entrance is private and cannot be seen from the street. Studio is fully contained. The parking space for the studio is in front of the house, feel free to load and unload in the driveway. There is no access to the yard; so if you bring your dog, you will have to walk your pup, our neighborhood is great for dog walking! Internet is provided, cell phone service can be unreliable unless your carrier is Verizon. Texting usually works on all phones.

We are available to interact with guests as much as they desire; however, we respect their privacy. We have a welcome letter in the studio that lists great hikes, beaches and restaurants.
We are a no tobacco host, inside or outside, as fire danger here is extremely high.
If you're bringing a dog, please let us know before we accept your reservation. There are a few pieces of information we need to get and give our pet owners.
We only have room for one vehicle. Parking on the fire road behind our place is prohibited, so if you bring more vehicles they will have to be parked down the street, not on our street.
We ask for quiet after 10 pm. We also ask that you turn off your porch light as soon as you're in for the night. If you're coming in late, please be mindful.

Our studio is cozy, with beautiful views and can't be seen from the road. Private! There is one shared wall, which is our laundry room. We ask that you bring your own food. There's a stove, refrigerator, microwave, tea pot and French press, along with the usual assortment of pots, pans and dishes. We have a 23 pound dog, she loves everyone, and a big orange cat. Cell phones don't always work well here, Verizon is fine, AT&T has spots that usually work and texting usually goes through. Internet works fine. We look forward to meeting you.
