Charming character home located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Perfectly suited to a couple or lone traveller wanting to chill out and relax. Lush forest frames a glistening Laguna Bay view from the walled terrace to the North. Stroll to Hastings St & Shops.
The open plan living features soaring timber ceilings, while a huge entertainer's kitchen looks out to swaying trees alive with birds, floor to ceiling glass sliders open the living area to the sun and breezes on the Northern slopes of Noosa Hill. There is a private sun deck off the bedroom on the lower level. The home is not a pristine modern edifice, but when the sun strikes the deck and filters through the glass it really doesn’t matter.
The house is fully equipped... I love to cook so feel free to help yourself to the contents of the pantry - I don't think you will be disappointed with the range of spices and dry goods.
There is a high speed ADSL internet connection for wireless access. Someone has kindly hooked up Netflix for me - you are welcome to surf the menu - but really its so gorgeous here in Noosa you should be out and about exploring!
Massage chair for stress relief - although a few days in this little pocket of quiet will melt away any trace of the outside world.
Gas barbecue on the terrace for long lazy lunches in the sun.
Huge library of books from many genres to keep you enthralled.

I am always buzzing around... I will meet and greet and collect keys.. unless I can't - then we can make it work one way or another. :-)

We have the Jazz festival coming up in early September and the local Noosa Arts Theatre offers quality productions and indie film screenings. The regular Farmers Markets held on Sunday mornings at the Football ground on Weyba Road are worth a visit as are the Eumundi Markets on Saturday and Wednesday mornings. There are markets on the Harbour deck at Tewantin on Sunday which is a ferry ride from the Sheraton Wharf, There are also markets at Peregian Beach on the second Sunday of each month. The Hinterland is a lovely drive on a rainy day with gorgeous eateries and little cottage industries. Maleny has a fabulous diary with farm fresh yoghurts and cheeses. Noosa is awash with amazing award winning restaurants and cafes - there are free buses in peak holiday periods. You can hire little boats along the river and putt around for hours fishing ... drifting... dreaming. If you are into hiking .. the Noosa National Park is on the door step.
There is a great sunset cruise available on the Noosa Queen at the Tewantin Marina - it leaves the wharf at 4.45pm (best to get there around 4pm to secure a decent seat on the front deck). There is a bar on board, but you can BYO nibbles, cover charge $10 per person - lovely way to end the day and enjoy sunset over Lake Cootharabah looking back at Mount Cooroora. ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)
I love this little house, I am sure you will fall in love too and treat it like your own home. The floors are timber on the upper level so please do be conscious of killer heels. I use a bowl to wash up - sorry there is no dishwasher - and use the dishwater to keep the terrace pot plants lush and green - if it is dry as is normal at this time of year it would be great if you could give them the occasional drink.
I don't mind you smoking on the balcony, there are ashtrays - please don't flick your butts over the terrace - they are a fire hazard and don't seem to mulch down.
