Arashiyama is due west from metropolitan area of Kyoto City, and is the most representative tourist areas of Kyoto.
Many people from all over the world come to Arashiyama see the beautiful cherry blossoms in spring, or the foliage in Autumn making it one of the most famous areas to visit in Japan.
With temples and shrines that aren't regularly covered in tourism guide-books and historical structures, the Arashiyama area is truly full of wonders of Kyoto.
