Sunrise Master Suite: This suite has a Queen Bed. Each Suite has a pair of French Doors opening onto a Balcony, Gas Fireplace, and Private Bathroom, Closet, Independent Heating and Air, Wired & Wireless Internet over a Gigabit LAN and DVR/TV.
Each Master Suite has private key locked access. You also receive a key to the front door and you have 7x24 access. The primary area is approximately 200 square feet, plus an entrance area, the bathroom, a closet and the balcony for a total of approximately 350 square feet. Each suite has its own independent heat and air conditioning thermostat. The Fireplace is operated by a simple on and off wall switch. The guest suites share an independent hot water system separate from the rest of the house.
You have Kitchen Privileges and access to the Dining Room, Living Room, Main Balcony, Laundry Room and Recreation Room. You can also walk the property and harvest food for your personal consumption from the fruit and citrus trees and the vegetable garden.

The house has a hydraulic elevator that services all three floors. The main entrance is from a large circular turn around. The house entrance faces east and you enter onto the main floor. All the bedroom suites are upstairs. The lower level accommodates the laundry room and a recreation room that opens out to Sunset through pairs of French Doors. The recreation room has a cushioned gymnastic hardwood floor suitable for yoga and exercise. The room is also setup for Table Tennis and Darts.
No pets are permitted. There is no smoking and no hard alcohol, but wine and beer in moderation is acceptable. If you cook or use the kitchen or barbeque you are required to cleanup and put dishes in one of the two dishwashers. You are also required to start the dishwashers and empty them when appropriate. Personal effects should not be left in common areas.
My lifelong passion is sailing and I have a 32 foot Ericson Sailing Yacht named “Silver Moon” in Dana Point Harbor. Over the past decade I have developed a passion for Ballroom Dancing and this is now a major part of my life. My parents were born farmers but moved to a small city before I was born. Raised in the city, I had little or no interest in farming, but now I have a strong need to go back to my parent’s roots and do some farming.
I am from the Mid-West, grew up sailing on the Great Lakes, and went to Michigan State University. I worked my entire life in the high-tech computer industry and I am CEO/President of a small high-tech real-time computer and networking company. My company supplies specialized real-time computing networks to Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, the US Navy, Canadian Navy, and NATO for ship self-defense systems on CVN, LHD, and LHA Aircraft Carriers. The company also provides products to Flight Test Telemetry Centers in support of fighter aircraft for the US Navy and NATO.
As I prepare to phase out the high-tech life style, I feel I have come full circle back to where my parents started, but not exactly. As a Gentleman Farmer in Bonsall there are no pigs, cows, or other livestock to attend to and I don't really do any physical work. Hard physical labor would interfere with my Ballroom Dancing and Sailing passions. However, I do get to run the tractors with all their hydraulic attachments.
The property is call “Bonsall Jardins” or “Bonsall Gardens” and is almost self-sustaining. The property currently has a surplus of solar energy, a cistern system (it is bound to rain eventually), and a Well not in service. I hope to have a completely self-sustaining water system in service next year. Rain Water is pure and will be held in large storage tanks. All Well Water and Rainbow Municipal Water, if required, will pass through a reverse osmosis system and be as pure as Rain Water.
Bonsall Jardins is built on a four acre Avocado Grove. With 250 Avocado Trees and thirty or more Citrus and Fruit Trees along with fresh Blue Berries, Raspberries, and Blackberries there is always something to pick and eat.
The large vegetable garden with raised beds around the border has everything from corn, melons, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and most root vegetables. The perennial garden has rhubarb, asparagus, and artichokes in season.
Maybe next year I will build the Green House and a Chicken Coop. Then I will get some baby chicks and will have farm fresh eggs each day, year round fresh fruit and vegetables, lots of pure water, fresh clean air, and I am done! Bonsall Jardins has been about fifteen years in development.
Please come and stay, and if you know how to make preserves come when the fruit is in season and we can share in some canning activity, sort of a “Back to the Sixties” activity as I remember it. There is even a Palm Tree and a Fig Tree that was on the property when I purchased it. Of course the Palm Tree doesn't contribute to the food chain, but Raw Figs and Fig Jam are the best.
