This unique house will be featured on HGTV's 'You Live in What?' in 2014. It was built as a wood sided residence in 1861, and later converted to a grocery store in 1900, with stucco siding and a corner door. In the 1990's it became a residence again.
This house is a surprise when you walk in the door because of the contemporary decor and soaring vaulted ceilings. It has a big open feel, but is also cozy and warm at the same time. It has its own private courtyard, which is a bonus, and is within walking distance of everything in the Landmark Historic District.
The entire house is available for your use and the courtyard is private to the house and not shared. You will be greeted in person by me or one of my representatives, or use a lockbox, if we are unavailable.

Either I, or my representative will be available if you have any questions or needs during your stay.
The house is in a residential neighborhood and all guests are expected to be respectful of the neighbors at all times. Please be mindful of the City of Savannah Noise Ordinance. As you are staying in a residential area, we remind you to observe neighborhood quiet times between the hours of 9PM-8AM. Please remember that sound carries very well throughout Savannah, especially in courtyards, porches, and patios. Also, remember that many houses share common walls. Please be considerate of your next door neighbors while outside and inside the house.
Please DO NOT LET DOGS GET ON THE FURNITURE. They should be crated, if possible, when left alone at the house. Don’t allow dogs to relieve themselves or dig in the courtyard. There are plastic bags available on the bottom shelf of the coat rack. Savannah has a leash law and pet waste must be cleaned up.
NO SMOKING is allowed anywhere on the property.
The fireplace is non working. Please do not use.
There is a guestbook in the house with more information about the house and check out procedures.
