You will be very comfortable in this bright, clean and spacious ground-floor home in one of Montreal's most sought after areas. Explore the neighborhood to discover world-class restaurants, delicious casual dining and unique independent boutiques.
Perfect for a couple or a family on vacation, this bright and spacious apartment sleeps 4 comfortably. It comprises the entire ground floor of a heritage duplex located on a quiet, tree-lined street in fashionable Outremont. It's just steps from some of the city's best shopping, eating and entertainment. It borders on Mile End, a stylish, casual neighbourhood that has been described by the New York Times as the hotbed of Montreal indie music ( with bands like Arcade Fire), cultural diversity and all things cool. It's easy walking distance to Montreal's storied Plateau district, home to a bohemian mix of artists, students, yuppies and young families.
The apartment is fully furnished with a king sized bed in one room and a double bed in the second room. Both are made up with crisp cotton linens and down feather duvets and pillows. Each bedroom has a closet. There are separate living and dining areas and an eat-in kitchen with a fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, washer and dryer. A drying rack, ironing board and iron are also supplied.
The apartment has one bathroom which is stocked with fresh towels, bath soap, bath salts and a hair dryer. The dining table sits 4 comfortably. The flat screen HDTV comes with full cable and free Netflix. Free Wi-Fi is included throughout and a Bluetooth Tivoli radio is provided to play your music. There is a private outdoor patio.

I look forward to greeting you at the apartment. If I can't be there, I will make arrangements to have you met on your arrival.
I am always available by phone or by text to answer any questions and provide any advice to guests. And I live right around the corner so I'm close if you need anything.
I have lived in Montreal for almost 20 years. I own and operate a design gallery on St. Laurent Boulevard, that focuses on sustainable design. I have a special relationship with Querbes. It was my first house. I renovated it and planted a garden and lived there for several years.
Before settling in Montreal I was constantly on the move living, studying and working in other Canadian cities and abroad in New York, London, Geneva, Paris and further afield in Africa. I love to travel, but I also love to come home.
My goal in renting out 172 Querbes is to create a space where my guests feel welcome, comfortable and at home on their travels.
