Excellent scenic location. Great housekeeping staff and tasty fresh food. This is the best way I can sum up my stay at Bikamp. We have enjoyed every bit of it. This is the place where you can listen to the silence in the midst of nature. The housekeeping arranged a day tour of monasteries as well. Overall a great experience to have...

Bikamp is a beautiful camping site in Leh! Set in an absolutely picturesque setting with the Indus flowing through the site, its a great place for a camping experience. The tents are simple and comfortable! The staff are extremely friendly and make YUMMY food! With charging points, lots of board games and the great outdoors, this is a perfect place to experience Leh! Not to forget the star gazing at night! A must do experience!

I had a great time in Leh. It was a humbling experience for me. The folks in Bikamp are so hospitable and ever so helpful. Its such a safe place to stay. I love the fact that it is located out of the city and the scenery is amazing!!! Thank you so much and i would definitely love to visit Leh again.

The camps are good, food was delicious and the staff was really helpful. They did provide us a free bonfire as well. Thank you for that Drawbacks: The place is too far from the city of Leh which was misleading as the detail address was not provided on the listing. Another issue was we stayed alone and no other tents were occupied, which did create a sense of loneliness which I didn't expect during a peak seaon. As far the stay goes, it was very comforting and with all things taken care of as promised

Bikamp was a wonderful place to stay. We were there for 5 nights. Leh is a great place but the city is very busy, dusty and loud so being able to escape to Bikamp had such a positive effect on our time there. At Bikamp all you can see is green grass, a beautiful stream, trees, cows and stunning mountains. At night you can see the milky way. The staff were amazingly polite and endlessly helpful. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and included in the price. You could buy lunch for a very reasonable price. A few things that made it less than ideal was it was a relatively expensive taxi to and from Leh. Not hugely expensive but it does add up. The other issue was that no one at the camp spoke fluent English but they got around that by giving you a phone to call the owner of the camp who was very helpful and would assist in planning or calling taxis. Overall we are so glad we stayed there.

A very basic camp with marvellous views. Close to nature, but a bit far from the city centre. Monasteries are close by. Perfect for people who don't need much luxury and have their own means of transportation. Very tranquil.

I am an environmental enthusiast and professional working with an international NGO. I love travelling, mostly alone or with my husband. I am especially fond of offbeat locations. I like to know about any place like a local and not like a tourist.
