SMOKING POLICY
This is a non smoking property. Smoking is only allowed in the internal yard, on the roof terrace or outside.

PETS
Pets are not permitted in rental units under any conditions.

INCLUSIVE FEES
Rates include a linen and towel setup per week. Water and 20 units (kWh) of electricity daily is included in the rental price which covers an average consumption. In case of electricity over-consumption guests can purchase additional electricity cards (€20 per card).

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE
While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is NOT included in the rental rate. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the property, but we provide extra beach towels for your use.

WATER CLOSET
DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the drainage system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred Euro (€200).

TV & WiFi
TV is provided and service level has been chosen by the host. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, or personal preferences with regard to TV service. High speed wireless internet is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to the booking. AIR CONDITIONING (Heating & Cooling)

HEATING IN WINTER
An additional heating device which runs on gas is provided for the reservations between December - March. For a week-long booking a full cylinder and for a 3-4night stay a half cylinder will be provided. Any extra gas cylinders required are charged at €25 per cylinder.

ROOF TERRACE
Roof terrace is equipped with BBQ and outdoor furniture. Any soft furnishings should always be stored away in the washroom once you leave the roof.

RESPECT NEIGHBOURS
The guests are advised that as per law no loud noise is permitted between 11pm and 7am. This is a quiet residential neighbourhood, please respect the neighbours whilst on holiday.

INDEMNITY
The guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Host against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss.

FALSIFIED BOOKINGS
Any guests making a booking under false pretense will not be permitted to check in.

Birgit est une hôte formidable et très serviable. La maison est juste parfaite ! Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse sur le toit: idéale pour regarder les multipnes feux d'artifices. Nous recommandons cet emplacement.

Lovely home exactly as it has been described on the website . Clean, close to public transport and supermarkets. There is also a butcher in the village. Lovely restaurant /takeaway in the village that makes great pizza. Close to the blue grotto. Great views of the Church from the rooftop. The hostess was lovely, she was there to meet us, arranges transport from the airport and gave us all the information we needed and asked us to contact us if we needed anything.

Hallo, wir (verreist als Paar, 29 & 32 Jahre) hatten einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt und bedanken uns vielmals für die schöne, saubere und authentische Unterkunft im Herzen von Zurrieq. Folgende Dinge haben uns besonders gut gefallen: - Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeberin und auch sämtlicher Bewohner in Zurrieq - Nahegelegene Pastizzeria für original-maltesische Pastizzi zum Frühstück sowie Convenience-Shop (400 m, tägl. geöffnet) und Lidl (1 km, werktags geöffnet) für Güter des täglichen Bedarfs - Gute Busanbindung nach Valetta und zum Flughafen - Nähe zur blauen Grotte und zu den Tempelanlagen - Dee's Pizzeria in Zurrieq - Größe, Authenzität und Ruhe des Hauses Neben den ausnahmelos positiven Dingen, möchten wir gern auch folgende Hinweise geben: - Die Reise nach Gozo und Comino beträgt in etwa 2 h Bus zzgl. Fähre (alle 45 min), was bei der Reise in den Norden zu bedenken ist - Wir konnten neben der tollen Pizeria Dee's leider kein weiteres, zu Fuß erreichbares Restaraurant in der Nähe finden. Wir haben unsere Restaurantbesuche daher in andere Städte verlagert und sind damit auch sehr gut gefahren. Nochmals vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt ! Viele Grüße, Katja und David

The appartment is very beautiful and we loved it. Better than expectet and we loved sitting on the roof terrace with its wonderful view! With what you need near, a small shop around the corner and easy to go by bus to Valetta and Blue Grotto. And nice to live in a place where there are not so many tourists. We really recommend this place!

Love the traditional Maltese house. It was perfect for 4 people. We had no problem grabbing some groceries at local markets and making our own breakfast. There is A/C in one bedroom so it does get fairly hot during the summer in the daytime in the rest of the house. However, if you are out of the house most of the day traveling it shouldn't be much of a problem. Birgit was very kind and helpful. She had so many good suggestions and great hospitality. The house is close to a beautiful cathedral type church and some small restaurants/shops. It is close to an us station,however the bus system can be a little disappointing sometimes, so keep an open schedule when relying solely on busses. The Blue Grotto is walkable in distance, but I wouldn't recommend it in the middle of summer. The bus does go there as well and is a must-see. The home was a little tricky to find at first, but we loved it and felt like a local.

This was a great place for us to stay as we were visiting a friend in a neighboring village. We spent very little time in the house, but it served our needs. The bus service to other parts of the island is very convenient and reliable.

This was my wife's first visit to Malta and it was close to my family! It was awesome to live like a local in a traditional Maltese house! The roof top was awesome to sit and relax! Close to public transport and many little food shops! Valletta and the other cities are amazing but there's nothing like the peaceful area of Zurrieq!
