Modern rustic cottage: 10 seconds from the Deal beach front, conservation area and the unique high St. Renovated to mix the contemporary whilst restoring some of it's Victorian cottage heritage. Unusually large outdoor space for the Old town - patio and alfresco dining.

Жилье
One bedroom , plus rest cottage usage and a single sofa bed that can be in living room or bedroom.
Modern rustic vibe and new kitchen.
Open kitchen with skylight and downstairs toilet with access through bi fold doors to outdoor garden space and a little summer room .

Once you leave the back gate you are a ten second walk up Capstan road to the beach...the waves you can hear from the cottage....
Quieter end of the beach too...

Xx

Что доступно гостю
This is a two bed cottage with a lovely garden and summer room. Only one of the bedrooms and the rest of the cottage is available.

My neighbours are here towards the end of the week and weekends. Please be respectful regarding noise and coming home. They are victorian cottages, so you will hear the odd noise, but the locale is pretty quiet for Deal this end. xx

Our back gate goes onto Capstan road. This tiny road takes you 10 seconds to the lovely beachfront. Although the high street and the pier are literally only minutes away, I love being our end of the beach. The charming and characterful high street is just around the corner and you can access the wonders of Deal, Walmer and Kingsdown with ease. In the opposite direction , you can take a pleasant walk towards the Sandown castle (now a flowerbed!) end of the beach, with views of Ramsgate and France too! We overlap with Alfred's Square and the historical Middle Street. Enjoy being immersed in the rambling old cottages and the newly renovated pier also bring wonderful views of the town.

With its expansive promenade and views stretching to France, Deal offers a micro climate with the best of summer weather. Plus there is plenty to do on rainy days too! Quirky boutiques and antiques shops to browse and plenty bars, cafes and restaurants. A “real thriving foodie scene”. Deal has not one but three Tudor castles built by Henry VIII, namely Deal, Walmer and Sandown. The first two are run by English Heritage, and Sandown Castle (a small ruin now, engagingly landscaped) is on the cycle path that follows the coast towards the golf course.
Deal is blooming and bustling… unique independent shops, markets, delicatessens, pubs, restaurants and cafes and a great beach! Deal has a long 1950s Pier which was named Pier of the year in 2008. A celebrated Georgian town, evident in the Middle Street conservation area, with winding streets and lovely promenade.
Other things to do in Deal include the Time Ball Tower Museum, which is a Semaphore Tower and was used to pass messages along the East Coast to warn of smugglers. The Deal Maritime and Local History Museum is also very interesting as it tells the full historical story of this seaside town. The Deal Memorial Bandstand is a remembrance of the bombing of Deals Royal Marine School. The bandstand is still in use and there are free concerts from May to September on Sunday afternoons.
There are several markets to enjoy in Deal. There is a weekly Saturday market and small market outside the Town Hall on Wednesday and Fridays.

The area attracts golfers and World Championships is due in 2020; Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Links, Royal St George’s in Sandwich, and Royal Cinque Ports in Deal are all within an easy reach.
For sailing enthusiasts, the nearby Downs Sailing Club holds events suitable for novices and experienced sailors, throughout the season. Dover Sea sports in Dover is where my son has learnt to sail and trips can be boked from there too.
Tides Leisure Centre and Victoria park (with a kiddie play park), are a few minutes near Deal Station. The spanking new Leisure Centre at Whitfield is also a 10 minute drive.
The award winning Deal Pier affords residents and visitors alike inspiring views and has not only been spruced up, but now has the welcome Deal Pier Kitchen café. You can always cast off for your own fish from their too!
In 2014, Deal won the Telegraph ‘High Street of the Year’ award and also features in the Times 30 Best Places By the Sea. (articles to be attached to my site soon…)
