This sunny room is filled with antiques from around the world plus unique decorations, including my dad's artwork, a wall hanging I made from old T-shirts and a stunning woven metal sculpture. The bed and memory foam queen mattress are brand new.
Step out the front door to lighted greenbelt walkways and hiking trails with incredible views. Walk to restaurants, boutiques, movies and more. Relax in a quiet, peaceful environment. 20 min. to Malibu.
THE TV AND COMPUTER ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR USE.
Just outside your bedroom is an area I've set up for guests. There's a mini fridge with filtered water, a coffeemaker, tea, sugar, cups, etc. The coffeemaker is designed to make a single cup, so please use the coffee cup to measure one cup of water to one scoop of coffee.
You are welcome to use the living room and dining room downstairs. The kitchen and adjoining family room are not available for guests. If you'd like to enjoy the pool and backyard, please use the front door and go through the iron gate. MAKE SURE THE GATE LATCHES SECURELY; if you just slam it, it won't latch, and my dog can get out.

I am usually here to greet guests and help throughout their stay. However, sometimes my schedule makes it impossible to be home. In that case, I will let you know where the key is, and I will be available by text with any questions/problems I may have.
I would love to help you make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Please ask me for suggestions about restaurants, hiking and things to do here and in Malibu.
ELECTRICITY IS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE HERE--DO NOT LEAVE ANY LIGHTS ON.
PLEASE PUT TOILET SEAT DOWN AND DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER.
KEEP YOUR DOOR AND BATHROOM DOOR CLOSED AT ALL TIMES.
Please respect my family's privacy by not using the downstairs bathroom, kitchen/family room area. When you leave, instead of making the bed, please just strip the sheets off the bed and leave them on the floor. Thanks!

I love being a host, because it's like traveling without leaving home! I truly enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. Since I was born and raised here, I know lots of fun things to do that are not found in tourist books, such as hiking trails with ocean views and waterfalls, having a picnic at a local winery, exploring local sea caves and the best places to shop. If you email me before you arrive and let me know your general itinerary, I can offer ideas of things to see and place to eat along the way. Also let me know what you like to do--whether you prefer outdoor adventures, unusual museums or romantic restaurants. I can do some research and put together a personalized list to help you make the most out of every minute you're here. I sincerely want to do anything in my power to make your stay enjoyable. I want to reiterate that I have a 9-lb. dog who loves people and will jump and go crazy upon first meeting you. After about 5 minutes, she'll totally calm down and just laze around the house. She is a non-shedding, hypoallergenic breed, but if you are extremely allergic or just generally uncomfortable having an animal in the house, this is probably not the right home for you. I also have a teenage son who will be going off to college soon, however, he may come home to visit (I hope!) I love to hike, kayak, ski and play tennis. One thing I did recently was kayaking through the ocean caves on Santa Cruz Island. It was on my "bucket list," and I was glad to check it off! I can't wait to meet you and help you enjoy the city and country that I love!
