The space is unique and comfortable. The apartment is part of a remodeled and modernized 1939 home. The apartment is a lock-off from the main house and has a private entrance. You have your own high end kitchen and you will feel like you are hosting a cooking show when you use the stove that is embedded in the island. We provide coffee, tea, cocoa, half and half, and ingredients for a leisurely mountain breakfast. Anything you find in the space is for you to use. We are happy to share condiments and spices.

I have always loved to stay in unique and charming places when I travel. I was thrilled when airbnb came online because it gave the U.S. the equivalent of the Pension, Cabina or Villa that I had enjoyed in other countries, complete with local hosts. I will never forget the apartment in Prague that it took 13 keys (3 of them skeleton keys) to access. The lovely hosts brought us cherries and wine. Travel is at it's best when it is memorable and story worthy.
We have experienced much of the same pleasure in hosting airbnb guests from around the country and around the world. Many people come to relax, adventure or celebrate and they bring a jubilant energy with them.
My husband Greg and I relish living in the mountains. We both love to hike, camp, and spot animals. We've seen moose, bobcat, bear, foxes, raccoons, marmots and many birds. I have a great time snowboarding in the winter while Greg and our son Kyle ski. We all enjoy the local ice skating rink. In the summer Greg also goes fly fishing and mountain biking. We are happy to share what we know about any of these activities.
We recently traveled to the San Juan Islands off of Seattle. What a gorgeous place! We will be back during Orca season! Our February, 2016 adventure will be in Costa Rica where we will enjoy the beach, the mountains and local friends.
I have a Master's in Counseling Psyschology and I work for a nonprofit teaching people to read. I also have been known to do fused glass and stained glass artwork. Next up is to get my blown glass studio up and running.....
