Beautifully renovated 1st floor apartment with small balcony offering superb accommodation within a listed historic building. Living rooms face 17thc Carmelite church and open views up to the Opera. Bedrooms face quiet, private courtyard with trees.
I am afraid the apartment is non smoking and no pets. It will also only comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults and 1 child. Regretfully we do not accept stag parties or equivalent. And no parties of any description!
Also, I am afraid that I cannot accept bookings of less than 3 nights.
I am half Polish (my Father came from Lvov), half Scottish - but brought up in the UK and I have to confess to not speaking any Polish (apart from basics). We visited Poland first in 1989 and fell completely in love with it. I think that those with Polish blood do feel a pull - and I am always thrilled at how many guests (and most are more intrigued rather than having family ties) also fall for Warsaw and Poland.
My children loved the apartment when they were young teenagers because they could step straight out of the apartment into a capital city centre and they adored the freedom and adventure of that. It says a lot for Warsaw that we were happy for them to explore the town on their own.
I don't live there full time but my brother and nephew do. They manage the apartment for me.
I speak English and French. My brother and nephew are fluent Polish speakers.
