We had a wonderful time staying at Nikos' beach house! Nikos was very accommodating, quick to answer and generous in offering us some delicious home-made treats. Because the houses don't really have housenumbers, Nikos met us at a gasstation nearby and escorted us to the house. The house was very clean and airy, located at a quiet cul-de-sac off the main road going through the peninsula. The garden and shaded terrace were the ideal place to eat and lounge about. There is another terrace higher up on the hill which has a gorgeous view and an outside BBQ. The beach is a quick walk away and is in fact a 'private', uncrowded beach shared by the other locals. Everyone has his own spot with umbrellas and beach chairs, and we got to use the ones of Nikos, which was unexpected but very nice! The living room as well as the bedrooms have fully functioning airconditioning which turned out to be necessary in 38° weather. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge, dishwasher, espresso and frappémachine. Supermarkets, restaurants and bars are a 5min. car drive away. At night, when it's slightly cooler, you can even walk to Polychrono which is very close by. If you're looking for a quiet beach experience without being too far from towns and nightlife, then this is definitely a location too consider!
