This cozy, well-appointed home in the Seadrift community of Stinson Beach will charm you the minute you walk in. There are water views on each side, not of the beach but of a tidal lagoon in one direction and the Bolinas Estuary in the other. Wonderful bird watching, peaceful, lovely space. The living room has a fireplace, and there is a hot tub outside. Three kayaks and one canoe for your use on the lagoon or to take to Bolinas on an adventure, passing seals on your way. Comfy, clean beds.
This light-filled, cheerful house looks out on the Bolinas Estuary on one side and the Seadrift Lagoon on the other. A short walk away is gorgeous Stinson Beach, a 3-mile crescent shaped sandy beach recently named one of the three best beaches in California, with Malibu and Laguna.
Just 20 miles north of San Francisco on the Pacific Coast Highway,
Stinson Beach is the quintessential California beach town.
The beach is surrounded by our treasured parklands of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The town features several restaurants, one grocery store as well as a surf shop, gift shop, ice cream shop and video rental store.
It's an easy commute to Mill Valley and San Francisco, and a beautiful drive on Highway One up to Olema, Pt Reyes and Inverness.
The house has a fully appointed kitchen with oven, five burner propane cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, blender, etc. There is a dining area with an adjacent sitting area. Then there is a whole other living room area with fireplace, DVD player, Roku, cable tv, as well as a game table and lots of games, comfy reading spots. Each bedroom has a queen bed and one of two bathrooms has a tub.
Outside, a sunny deck facing the ocean side is warm and inviting even when it's cold on the beach. There's a hot tub and a small fire pit. And there are several spots to sit in - a floating dock, a deck, some adirondack chairs on a lower deck, a patio outside the kitchen, where there is a gas BBQ, and the front deck, where you can watch the birds come to the Bolinas Estuary to feed in the evening.
There are several boats - a mix of kayaks and one canoe - for your use.
This is a very inviting home in a peaceful spot. It's very quiet in winter, really lovely.
You will have access to the entire house, the hot tub, the various decks, the dock, the canoe/kayaks. Living room has fireplace. Family room has kids books, bedroom and living room have adult books, a game table and lots of games, as well as DVD player, tv, etc....
