Palazzo Wilson-Gattai, a Florentine mansion.
It is an historical mansion of the 19th century in neo renaissance style, designed by a romantic English artist and, a few years later, completed by a young Florentine architect.
The house looks on the largest garden square in the historic centre of Florence and it also has a private interior garden.
Overtime it has maintained the original characteristics of a private mansion and has since been provided with all modern services. All the frescos, the decorations and the original furniture of the house are still intact.
It is the ideal place for anyone who would like to have a relaxing environment with a beautiful garden but also to be very near the centre of Florence and all its important monuments and museums.
It is on the first floor and it is the apartment in the noble flat of the house. It looks on the house garden and the neighbouring gardens.
The living room is decorated with a boiserie very typical of the end of the 19th century and it is decorated with painting and furnishings of that period. There is also a beautiful old marble fire place.
The kitchen too is completely frescoed but perfectly set up with refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and microwave oven.
There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with twin beds which keep the charm of the mansion.
Even the two bathrooms are frescoed and they are set up, one with an old marble bath and the other with a modern shower.
