Huset er ligger veldig sentralt og idyllisk til i gamlebyen på Kimolos. Standarden er enkel, men alt virker. Hyggelig vertinne. Vi kan anbefale stedet til andre

This house was just the thing for our family of four ( two kids ages 13 and 11). So was Kimolos. I was looking for a quiet, less tourist-mobbed Greece, and this was the relaxed, genuine version I sought. The kids' had their own bedroom with Wifi, though most days we jumped on the bikes to go to various beaches. The house had not just pretty decent bikes, which are an absolute necessity to get around unless one rents a car (a pity to do so!), but also it was fully stocked with anything one could possibly desire in your own home: every utensil/appliance/whatnot Imaginable. We cooked at home from time to time, and we lacked nothing at all. We were greeted by the lovely Irini and neighbors with a great bottle of white, fruit, water and biscuits after a long journey from Nairobi. All the villagers welcomed us, even if we were sometimes challenged to communicate in Greek. it's all part of the fun! I have nothing negative to say. We really wish to return next year, we loved it so much. Right from the initial planning stages, we received all the necessary logistics on ferries, flights to get to Kimolos. Thank you for a perfect holiday, Fileni. One thing to note: some more remote beaches while seemingly close on the map turn into difficult steep trails, and one might consider an RV for those. On bikes we could easily get to Prassa and Bonatsa and environs. A final hike to Sufi beach after an RV ride to where the path becomes too rocky/steep will reward you greatly. Be sure to eat at Kyma at the port. We kicked back there almost every day after beaches on bikes.

The house is beautiful, spacious and bright upstairs with high ceilings and balconies each end. It's historic but with everything you need, including washing machine. Kimolos is fantastic. The infrastructure is not geared towards tourism (the bus stops in September and there's only one taxi) but while that means a little extra effort is needed, it also means you get to experience real Greek island life. The people are so friendly and the food amazing wherever you go. The house is really close to cafes and tavernas (we loved Nikos's place in the street with the big church) and the bikes are a bonus for getting to some lovely beaches. Fileni was very helpful, finding out information about ferries for us and so on. We had a lovely stay.

We loved staying here. The house has lots of lovely details and it was great to stay in the castle at the heart of the village. We especially enjoyed the two terraces, one with a view of a quiet square and the other with a view of the castle ruins and church towers. The kitchen was well equipped. Fileni was super helpful in arranging for our arrival and helping us out during our stay.
