Our completely remodeled house is ready for your next trip. This home is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom house, with a fully stocked kitchen and a detached artist studio that can be used as a work space.

You'll find no shortage of great coffee houses, cafes, restaurants, and shops within walking distance of the house on world-famous Sunset Boulevard.

With views of the Silver Lake neighborhood off your private front deck, you'll feel like you're in LA, but still get the peace and tranquility of having your own place. Lots of light, large open living area with dining room. Brand new central air conditioning and heating, with air purifying system built in. Living room has a comfortable Room & Board pull-out sofa (with an incredibly comfy mattress), large flat-screen tv, and Bose sound system. Handmade reclaimed wood dining table, hardwood floors, large bathroom with full-sized shower and tub, full-sized washer & dryer, new kitchen, and beautiful views! Brand new (as of Sept 2015) organic pillow-top queen-sized bed in the master, along with a ceiling fan to lull you to sleep. Very serene, peaceful setting with a huge tree-filled backyard. The house is completely furnished with beautiful modern and mid-century finds, luxurious high thread-count linens, plush designer towels, every appliance known to man, spa-quality bath products...everything you need to enjoy your stay.

***As fellow house renters, we realize the importance of a good night's sleep. We use only high-thread count sheets and luxury linens, along with a protective cover on the mattress so you can sleep worry-free.***

The lake is a short walk from the house, where you can stroll, jog, or bike the perimeter. Great place for L.A. sightseeing or getting some exercise while enjoying the beautiful view.

Please note that the house sits on a lot with a twin bungalow, but you have complete privacy and no shared walls.

Guest has access to the entire house PLUS the separate work/art space.

By reserving your stay through this website, Guest hereby agrees to accept and abide by the following house rules:

1.CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days in advance of the arrival date will result in a refund of the advance payment, minus a $75.00 cancellation fee. Cancelations made less than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date MAY result in a refund of the full amount (minus the $75.00 fee), only if Owner is able to re-book the rental for the entire stay and/or equivalent fee. If Owner is unable to rent to another party for that time period, Guest will not be entitled to a refund. Early departure does not warrant any refund.
2.HOLIDAY POLICY: Reservations made for stays during holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Martin Luther King Day, Easter/Spring Break, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day Weekend, and Presidents Day, require 50% of the total balance due at time of signing, and the remaining balance due a minimum of 45 days in advance of arrival. If a reservation is canceled, refunds will be made ONLY upon re-booking the house for the entire stay and/or equivalent fee, minus the $75.00 Cancellation fee.
3.CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES: Unless alternate arrangements are made with Owner prior to Arrival Date, check in time is 3:00 p.m. on Arrival Date. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. on Departure Date.
4.SECURITY DEPOSIT: A $250.00 security deposit is included in the total amount due for stays of one calendar month or less. For stays longer than one month, a $500 security deposit is included. If no signs of damage to the house are found and no linens or other house amenities are lost or damaged, security deposit will be returned via mail 14 days after departure. All or any portion of the security deposit, upon Guest departure, may be used as reasonably necessary to (i) cure Guest’s default in payment of rent, non-sufficient funds (“NSF”) fees or other sums due, (ii) repair damage, excluding ordinary wear and tear, caused by Guest, or (iii) replace or return personal property missing from Premises. Guest hereby instructs Owner to deduct from the Security Deposit any and all sums for which Guest is responsible that have not otherwise been paid.
5.PAYMENT METHODS: Personal or Bank checks and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) transfer are accepted. Any and all (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) charges will be paid by Guest. If a check is returned for non-sufficient funds (“NSF”), Guest shall pay $50.00 NSF fee.
(URL HIDDEN) Owner or Owner’s representatives are permissible to access the Premises exterior at any time for any reason. Owner or Owner’s representatives are permissible to access the house with a1-day advance notice, or any time with tenant’s permission (i) for maintenance and/or repairs or (ii) in case of emergency. Emergency entry without notice includes, but is not limited to, purposes of resolving complaints from neighbors or public agencies.
7.QUIET ENJOYMENT: Guest shall be entitled to quiet enjoyment of the premises, and Owner will not interfere with that right. Guest also agrees to respect neighbors and will not cause disruption of neighbors.
8.MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Number of people staying on Premises must not exceed maximum number of people allowed as indicated in on rental site. Evidence that the number of people staying on the Premises exceeds number indicated on the contract may result in forfeiture of entire security deposit.
9.PARTIES: Gatherings, including Guests, which exceed maximum number of people staying on the Premises, must be pre-approved by Owner. The property is located in a residential neighborhood; care should be taken and polite consideration given to neighbors so their peace and quiet is not unduly imposed upon or disturbed. Guest is responsible for all visitors in this regard, whether occupying the property or “dropping by” for a visit. Evidence that parties have been conducted without pre-approval may result in a forfeiture of entire security deposit.
10.FILMING: Absolutely no filming or film crews are allowed in the house at any time.
11.NO SMOKING POLICY: No smoking of cigarettes or cigars is allowed on the property. Evidence of smoking on the property will result in a forfeiture of entire security deposit.
12.DANGEROUS MATERIALS: Guest shall not keep or have on or around the Premises any item of a dangerous, flammable or explosive nature that might unreasonably increase the risk of fire or explosion on or around the premises or that might be considered hazardous by any responsible insurance company.
13.INCLUSIVE FEES: Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup.
14.NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE: While clean linens and bath towels are included with the rental, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house. Upon request, Owner will provide housekeeper contact information, and Guest may arrange for and pay housekeeper directly.
15.PETS: Pets are not allowed on the premise.
16.DAMAGE: Guest will not damage or misuse the home or allow his/her Guests to do so. When Guest departs, the home will be left in good condition. Guest will not make any alterations to the home, including but not limited to, moving furniture, changing locks, using screws, nails or adhesive materials on walls, décor, or furnishings. Guest will inform Owner immediately if there are any issues with the home, especially with any water leakage or other typical home maintenance issue that may cause further damage if not remedied immediately.
17.WATER AND GARBAGE: Please use water minimally due to California drought issues. There are two garbage cans in the Kitchen - one for recyclables, and one for garbage - please dispose of waste accordingly. City trash bins are located in the driveway; please make sure these are taken to the curb prior to garbage day each Wednesday, and returned behind the gate in the driveway after bins are emptied.
18.ELECTRICITY, A/C, AND HEAT: Please turn off all lights when not in use, and use electricity, A/C, and heat on an as-needed basis.
19.KEYS: Upon termination of Guest occupancy, Guest is required to leave all keys to the Premises behind. One set of keys is to be left in the lockbox where the Guest found them upon initial entry.
20.GOVERNMENTAL RESTRICTIONS: If government restrictions are implemented in regard to the ability to rent this property, Owner may terminate this Agreement immediately with no further liability to Owner. In this event, any unused rent will be refunded to Guest.
21.RULES, REGULATIONS, COMMERCIAL USE: Guest agrees to comply with any and all rules and regulations included herein and/or posted on the Premises and/or set forth in notebook found at the Premises upon check-in. Guests shall not (i) disturb, annoy, endanger, or interfere with other occupants of the property or its neighbors, (ii) use the Premises for any commercial or unlawful purpose including, but not limited to filming, photo shoots, locations, parties, raves; using, manufacturing, selling, storing, or transporting illicit drugs or other contraband, (iii) violate any law or ordinance.
22.PERSONAL PROPERTY AND INJURY: Guests and/or Guest’s invitees’ personal property, including vehicles, are not insured by Owner against loss, damage, or for any other cause. Owner does not insure against personal injury to Guests and/or Guest’s invitees due to any reason other than the condition of the Premises.
23.LIABILITY WAIVER: Guest agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Owner and Owner’s representatives from all claims, disputes, litigation, judgements, costs and attorney fees resulting from loss, damage or injury resulting from the Premises or its use to Guest, Guest’s invitees, or licensees or their personal property. Guest, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable California law, hereby waives and releases any claim that Guest now or later might have against Owner and Owner’s representatives and agents, regarding the construction, design, maintenance, repair, or condition of the premises, or negligent conduct of Guest, Guest’s employees or agents, or any activities that take place thereon or therein. Without limiting the foregoing, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable California law, Guest hereby assumes the risk of harm to Guest, Guest’s personal property, and Guest’s agents and invitees in whole or part arising from or related to any of the foregoing causes.
24.MEDIATION: Guest agrees to mediate any dispute or claim arising out of this Agreement or any resulting transaction before resorting to court action. Mediation fees, if any, shall be divided equally among the parties involved.

We loved our stay in Stacey's Silverlake apartment. As a host, Stacey was easy to communicate with and very helpful with accomodating a late check out request. The apartment was the perfect size and a great location-- short driving distance to restaurants and shops and walkable to the farmer's market! I would definitely stay here again.

Stacey was a terrific and attentive host from beginning to end. The house is stocked with linens, dishes, w/d and so much more. We enjoyed he front balcony in the evenings. There isn't designated parking but it wasn't difficult to find street parking. I highly recommend this home!

A cool little house in a great part of Silver Lake. We had a rental car and never had issues getting a parking spot. The house was fully stocked with dish ware and pans. We ended up visiting the awesome 365 by Whole Foods grocery store up the street and made breakfast every morning. The AC kept the house very comfortable and having a washer/dryer was a huge plus.

Stacy is an amazing host who has an amazing space that is bigger than it looks and was wonderful for a last minute trip to LA. Literally everything from check in to check out is perfect and I look forward to coming back soon!

We had a wonderful stay! Awesome porch and view. The parking was easy, the house was clean and very well stocked with anything we might have needed. The kitchen was excellent, bed comfortable. All around, perfect.

I loved this place. Looks exactly like the photos. Very clean and well equipped with toiletries, kitchen utilities, laundry, etc. I would stay here again next time I visit.
