Superb bedroom suite with fantastic light and space, super king sized bed (or two twins) and sumptuous bathroom with roll-top bath. Tranquil rural location. Use of snug, conservatory, large garden, covered parking, WiFi and breakfast included.
Gorse Farm House is a truly peaceful place to stay, nestling amongst the patchwork quilt of fields and oak woods between Sturminster Newton and Bulbarrow Hill, the second highest point in Dorset. It is the home of Wendy and Lee Dickenson, who is a woodcarver. Lying in the Blackmore Vale, this former farmhouse sits in a secluded hollow off the beaten track, but within easy reach of many of the attractions of Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire. It is also prime walking country and lies adjacent to the North Dorset Cycleway.
The superb first floor bedroom suite has fantastic light and space, with its five windows affording countryside views in three different directions. The elegant ensuite bathroom is an important feature, with its sumptuous roll-top bath. Also towels and toiletries are provided. On the ground floor guests have their own snug with TV, radio, books and games. Then there is the adjacent conservatory where breakfast is served from April to October. During the winter months breakfast is taken in the farmhouse kitchen. There is also two acres of garden to enjoy and covered parking is provided.
