Makarska town is located on the Adriatic coast, very close to famous touristic resorts of the region, half way between Dubrovnik and Split, Makarska makes a popular stop on cruises around Croatia, with its lively family friendly beaches and colourful harbour set against the beautiful craggy peak of Mount Biokovo (highest point Sv. Jure 1762m) plummeting down into the Adriatic sea. It might be a quieter choice than its neighbours, but there is still plenty to do in Makarska with towns such as Tucepi, Baska Voda, Brela and Omis nearby or hop on the ferry to Brač Island for the day or a couple of nights.
With a small population Makarska has everything what you will need for a perfect holidays: beaches almost 2km long, good restaurants, clubs, trips to the closest Islands, tennis and diving schools, etc.
The area is rich with restaurants offering local specialities, especially fresh fish and the famous Dalmatian wine, charming cafe-bars, shops, supermarkets (Konzum and Idil) and many other services.
There is a bus station connecting Makarska to the rest of Croatian as well as Bosnia and Hercegovina. There is the bus connection every hour to Split. The nearest airport is Split (65 km). The local bus stop links you to Baška Voda and other small towns on the Makarska Riviera
Guests can expect a peaceful accommodation in the apartment, but also an exciting day and nightlife with plenty of restaurants offering cheap and traditionally rich food.
