Bar/clubs/restaurant/cultural event area on canal de l'Ourcq with authentic local flavor. 10 min walk to la Villette, direct metro to Louvre (20 min) &15 min. to Montmartre/Sacré Coeur. Well-equipped apt, responsive generous host with insider info.
The apartment includes a a large charming private room with a queen size bed, extra mattress for the floor, large mirrors, an armoire, a clothes rack, a second folding mini-table to eat at, clean 100% cotton linen and towels, and many other commodities (iron, hair-dryer, etc.). In the living room there is a futon that opens into a bed.
The apartment is equipped with wifi and a landline that can be used to make international calls and to call French cell-phones for free. I will lend you a French cell-phone to use during your stay, and provide you with wifi codes that will allow you to use the Internet anywhere in Paris and other cities in France.
There is also equipment to do sports/workout (spacious area in living room for large movements, yoga dancing, etc., large clean rug for the floor, pull-up bar, inclined bench for sit-ups, large mirrors, massage table, etc).
Note: The living room and the bathroom have had water damage in the ceiling that is still waiting to be repaired (French bureaucracy!), so the common areas are a little rustic. The apartment is 31m2, it's smaller than it appears in the photos taken by Airbnb but spacious for Parisian standards.
If you’re on a budget and looking for a clean, comfortable, and very affordable place with an attentive and generous host with a lot of insider knowledge of Parisian culture, you’ve definitely come to the right place!!

When possible I will greet you in person, and when I’m not in Paris, I have set up a simple system for you to recuperate the key from a friend who will great you or from a friendly bar-café on my street. I will also leave you with a little greeting gift and munchies in the fridge
You can call my cell-phone at any time (from my landline or the French cell-phone I will leave you), and I am almost always online. I will gladly and promptly respond to any questions that you might have during your stay.
I also provide extensive tourist information (city maps, restaurant and event suggestions, etc.), and to help you have a wonderful time in Paris in any way I can so don't hesitate to ask me questions! I've lived all throughout the city for over 9 years of my life and know so many walks of life here that native Parisians frequently claim that I know their city better than them :)
Make yourself at home! :) You can invite people over, enjoy yourselves, have dinner parties. I only ask that you respect the neighbors by not being excessive with noise levels.
