NO smoking, drugs or pets. No more than 4 people. Please use common courtesy. Quiet time 10pm to 8am. Cleanliness is a necessity to keep the critters away. Keep all food covered or refrigerated. Conservation is good. Honokaa has mixed recycling which means paper, card board, plastic, cans and bottles (except glass) are recycled together. If possible take your trash and recycling to the transfer station on Plumeria Street. Please put your trash & recycling in the cans by the laundry. If you are staying more than one week, you must take your trash and recycling to the transfer station because the housekeeper will not come around. Please make sure the hot water heater is turned off when you leave or if you will be out all day. Electricity is very expensive in Hawaii. You promise to pay the Hawaii TA tax. Leave cash or check made out to Patricia El-Gasseir on the table or if you prefer, I can request money through Airbnb.

Our home is in San Francisco Bay Area. We love Hawaii and bought this property which we hope to retire to in the near future. In the meantime, we will be going back and forth. We are an older couple. We love reading, good movies and nature. We have children in California and Seattle and grandchildren. Mohamed has a Ph. D. from UC Berkeley in Energy and Resources.
