Welcome to Bali Beach, San Diego's only concept condo that fuses Balinese Beach and Danish Midcentury Modern. Our oasis in the midst of the quiet area of Pacific Beach was designed with Feng Shui in mind. We wanted to create an experience for our guests, not just a place to sleep and eat. Throughout Bali Beach you will find a combo of restored and new furniture made of select natural eucalyptus, teak, bamboo, cedar, and rattan. Awash in white and brilliant colors, the space is adorned with a wide array of art and furniture from local San Diego artists. We wanted to show our desire to maintain a strong connection to the local beach and art community. Our space is unique. Back in 2009 I completely demolished the interior to create an energy flow and open concept that would support my love of the culinary arts and dining entertainment. The property manager is available for any issues that may arise but given that our place is only a few years old, we do not get many requests from guests who get to just enjoy their stay. If you would like recommendations on places to dine, drink, the owner is a 36 year old avid cook and traveler and knows a lot about the culinary and nightlife scene. Our property manager is a little more versed in family activities and can be contacted regarding any questions.

Please read thoroughly through the guidebook. I'm a cooking enthusiast and have close connections with the downtown culinary, art and nightlife scene and these recommendations are places that I always take friends and family visiting San Diego.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT: Your rental period begins at 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and ends at 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure, unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed to by your guest services coordinator.
Please make sure that you water the plants every 2-3 days. We had several guests not abide by this policy and the last time we came back to the unit, large numbers of our tropical plants had died. They are not indigenous to San Diego and they need your help to thrive!
The properties are professionally cleaned and inspected before and after each rental to ensure that all guests at Bali Beach have a clean and comfortable stay.
POLICY ON PARTIES
Valerie and I have created an oasis in the midst of PB filled with local artwork, furniture, plants and spirit here in the quieter side of Pacific Beach. Out of respect for the space and our surrounding neighbors we have a zero tolerance policy on house parties. By committing to staying at Bali Beach, GUEST agrees to comply with this policy.
Nobody outside of the agreed upon number of guests is permitted in the condo. GUEST agrees that their failure to comply will result in immediate eviction from the unit and forfeiture by guest of any monies paid to owner.
GUEST agrees to comply with the policy on loud noise and music in the condo. No loud music or loud talking or usage of the common areas after 10PM PST in accordance with the condo association bylaws. There are 9 other condos adjacent to this condo and GUEST agrees to maintain socially acceptable levels of volume in conversation and music. GUEST agrees that they are fully aware that this condo resides in the quieter area of Pacific Beach and is not a party pad or crash pad and should not be used for boisterous celebration or any attempt to entertain guests in the late morning hours or after the close of bars and restaurants of the nightlife district of Pacific Beach. GUEST agrees to vacate the premises and forfeit any monies paid to owner for failure to adhere to this policy and understands that a breach of this policy would include multiple reports from neighbors or other condo owners being placed with owner regarding noise emanating from Unit 1. GUEST agrees that their failure to comply will result in immediate eviction from the unit and forfeiture by guest of any monies paid to owner.
DAMAGE AND CLEANING ISSUES: Any damage or cleaning issues noticed upon arrival should be reported to owner immediately. If damage or cleaning issues are not reported within 3 hours of your arrival, you may be charged for the cost of the repair. All general maintenance issues should also be reported so the unit can be kept in good repair. You must contact owner to address any cleaning/repair issues within 1 hour of your arrival. You will not incur any additional charges if the following items are adhered to:
-No damage is done to the unit or its content including the linens.
-No items are missing upon the inventory check. (This includes, but is not limited to, transferring items to other units.)
-All debris, garbage and discards are placed in proper containers.
-All soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher.
-The maximum occupancy of the unit was not exceeded .
-There was no smoking nor evidence of smoking in a designated non-smoking unit.
-Unit is left in neat condition.
-No sign of pet damage or need of excessive cleaning due to pet hair
If you experience any problems whatsoever with the vacation property during your stay, please contact us and we will do our best to rectify the matter as soon as it is practicably possible. Should a problem remain unresolved, you are required to notify us in writing within 7 days of your return. No action can be taken or liability accepted for any complaints received after this period. We aim to resolve complaints within a two month period from receipt, the details of which will be kept confidential to only the parties involved. The vacation property is treated periodically as part of a pest and termite control program, and is cleaned after each rental.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed in any of our units. Smoking is not allowed outside by any open window/door. Smoking is not permitted on balconies.
PET POLICIES: Pet Policy Agreement (PPA) allows only dogs in the condo, no other pets are allowed as the owner is severely allergic. Prior to your stay, GUEST agrees to provide proof to owner of all vaccinations for the dog as required by San Diego ordinances (URL HIDDEN)
There is a maximum of two dogs allowed per dwelling. Guests' pets must be treated for fleas and ticks prior to arrival per PPA. Guests must pick up after pets, tightly tie the remnants in a plastic bag and dispose of properly. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and all pet hair must be removed prior to departure. A minimum $150 fee will be charged if there is any report of pet hair on bedding and/or sofas. Guest pets must be leashed at all times when outside of the unit and under no circumstances are Guest pets allowed on the beach. The violation of any terms of this pet policy subjects the guest to additional fines or termination of the rental period.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS: Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance deposit and/or rental money and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
GUEST assures us that the tenants will observe all conditions and terms of this agreement as to maintaining the rental in good order and appearance and will conduct themselves in a manner inoffensive to neighbors.
GUEST assures that any tenant who violates any of the terms of this Agreement shall be immediately denied occupancy and shall remedy any damages or other expenses, which are caused by the tenant and/or the tenant's guest(s).
GUEST agrees that any tenant who is found using drugs or allows others to use drugs on the premises will be immediately denied continued occupancy at these premises and GUESTS entire party will be immediately evicted from the premises.
GUEST and/or their guests shall not disturb, annoy, endanger, or inconvenience neighbors, nor use the premises for any immoral or unlawful purposes, nor violate any law or ordnance, nor commit waste or nuisance on or about the premises.
GUEST agrees that during the term of this agreement and such further time as he/she occupies the premises, he/she will keep the rental clean and free of trash, garbage, and other waste; and all pipes, wires, glass, plumbing and other equipment and fixtures in the same condition as at the beginning of, or may put in during the term of the agreement, reasonable wear and tear and damage by unavoidable fire and casualty only exception.
GUEST agrees to indemnify and save Owner harmless from damage arising from any nuisance or harm made or suffered on the premises by the GUEST, tenants, or guests or from any carelessness, neglect, or improper conduct of any persons entering, occupying or visiting the premises. We accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage or alteration to the terms of your reservation caused by events beyond our control, including but not restricted to war, terrorist activity, civil commotion, flight delays, or cancellations, airport closures, loss of luggage, adverse weather conditions, fire flood, or industrial dispute. We cannot accept any liability for failure of public supplies such as water, electricity, Internet or breakdown of any air conditioning system. Nor for the consequences of the action or omissions of persons who may control or supply main services, or any actions taken in the vicinity of the property reserved, by any authority over which there is no control.
We cannot accept any liability for your personal safety during your vacation. It is particularly important that children are supervised at all times in and outside the vacation property. We assume no responsibility for accidents. You are reminded to exercise care as to your personal safety, and the safety of your companions. Whenever possible, valuables should be left secured and out of sight.
