Completely remodeled/modernized in 2013, fully furnished historical style home with partial Bay Views from the sun/living room, master bedroom, front covered porch deck, and large flagstone patio/garden, dual paned windows throughout the home. Skylights and recessed lighting. In unit laundry area. Convenient short 5 minute walk to the Monterey Aquarium, Cannery Row's world class restaurants and night life.
Two bedrooms with queen size beds, mirrored closet doors, and two full bathrooms (showers, no tubs). Crib and Bedding provided upon guest request.
Accommodates 2 couples nicely, with a 5th guest sleeping on the comfortable couch in the living area. Filtered water at the kitchen sink. Forced Air Heating (No A/C), wide plank wood flooring, oversize clothes washer/dryer, laundry detergent, secured high speed internet, flat screen TV with basic cable service, access to Netflix, Pandora, Roku (NETFLIX) and Blue Ray DVD/CD Player.

1-15 minute drive to activities in Monterey, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Carmel-by-the Sea, and Camel Valley. Historic Downtown Monterey and Old Fisherman's Wharf are within walking distance as well. You can catch the Monterey Transit System close to the home. Big Sur is a 30-45 minute drive south on Coastal Highway 1.

The two bedrooms are towards the rear of our single level home. There are a half a dozen steps up from the sidewalk and again onto the front Monterey Bay partial view porch deck...with chairs and small table. The Master Bedroom has a full bathroom adjacent the bedroom (not in the room). There is another full bathroom adjacent the living area...for a short trip in the middle of the night serving the smaller bedroom.
There is plenty of street parking (no fee or parking restrictions), almost always right in front of our home. You will be walking distance to Cannery Row (5 minute walk) and downtown Old Monterey (15-20 minute walk along the paved waterfront walk/bike path), where events are ongoing throughout the year. Pebble Beach is a 5-10 minute drive away.

Over the years, I have been fortunate to have rubbed elbows with some of the most talented people in the Hospitality and Real Estate professions. Little did I know these mentors would prepare me for my Vacation Rental venture this year.
I've also discovered my inner gift for interior decorating. Casa Amarilla has been a labor-of-love restoring and modernizing this quaint Monterey Cottage...a stone throw from the Aquarium.
My green thumb came back to life as well. The patio and fenced garden area has blossomed this spring, and soothes one's sole at the end of an active day. A wood burning pot belly fire-pit and charcoal BBQ enhance this spacious artistic zen-like garden, while taking in the distant Monterey Bay view...our guests favorite!
