Amy reached out to me begging for a discount so she could take her African American kids to the Museums and teach them about their heritage(as she is Caucasian). On the offset her request was way below what the Villa rents for but we had a meeting with the staff and decided that would be a good charitable gesture. Big Mistake!
They arrived in two beaten up minivans, and filed out all 8 of them with no husbands. The teenage "kids" all young adults were glassy eyed . One of them came out dragging a filthy sheet wrapped in it.Dragged it on the floor up the steps and jumped on my white designer sheets! I was mortified.
They had all sorts of pillows and sheets and I realized they didn't read my instructions or didn't understand them. We do n ot allow guests to bring their own linen and these folks as we don't know what is being transported. We had to sanitize all the linen and bed and linen after they left. My property manager looked at my face and whispered"Big Mistake". Her son left some filthy retainer full of germs on the window sill she claimed after leaving. The house was a mess, beds unmade and trash everywhere. Was he ever right! Amy complained about my security cameras at my property. Wait ! I am in the hospitality business, I am required to have those, Then I realized why. After a day she had another car full of people sneak into the house. Four unpaid guests, were sneaking around using all my facilities without paying. Now you see the type of people I am dealing with. No wonder she was complaining about the cameras.
This low class behavior continued into her stay. One of her grown adults who she tried to pass off as kids to avoid paying the fee., disabled my AC system. That was the diagnosis of the technician, he turned the system to 85degrees. I guess they use fans where they are from, because on the last night of her stay she called complaining about the AC, but didn't want us to come in for fear we would see the additional unpaid guests. She requested that we leave the fans in the property. The other fabricated stories about hosts being in their property, several times was a lie. We were in Virginia Beach. Who would be interested in going into a property with a group of inner city folks.Really!
Then she weaves a tale about seeing a family looking into their car. We live in a high end Suburban neighborhood. They had 2 "jalopies" for need of a better word, is she implying that someone would be interested in that?
What family would be surrounding her old cars? They would have to drive and believe me there was a Mercedez Benz in the driveway that belonged to us.
Correction: Rich people don't have to sell kittens. We feed and keep them, our maintenance of these cats is probably on a monthly basis more than her rent. We have other guests that can attest to that. Ms Amy in the DMV we bring our pets to shelters. Is that what they do in Tennessee, sell kittens? Her claims are so ludicrous.
Correction: The food that you referred to was grilled by my chef for the group that checked out prior. You forgot to mention that the food was offered to you because we had no need for it and your gravalicious "kids" inhaled all the chicken and other stuff in 3 minutes flat!
"Scratch a liar, find a thief" Would you believe that after staying on week and checking out, this woman has the nerve to request her money back because she cannot make her rent for July? That is not my problem Ms Amy Winehouse!!! You are never welcome back.( I am usually a gracious host, except when I encounter scam artists.)
