Другие важные подробности
There are no cash exchanges between host and guests...all transactions will go through airbnb.
Each guest is given one towel. If there is a need for more please bring them with you. Thank you
I developed these house rules during my past six years of hosting on the occasion that things happened…thus another house rule….
- I think the most important house rule is never ring the neighbor's door bell.
-Please do not bring guests that are not registered through (URL HIDDEN)No friends/family.
-Check out time is 10:am
-There is no smoking or drinking in our home-thanks for understanding.
- Please wash dishes after use with sponge and detergent… these dishes are used by people from all over the world so rinsing with water is not sufficient to kill germs and bacteria.
-- If by any chance something is broken or not working please notify me immediately.
- Guests please take your shoes off in the hall area as you enter the apartment.
- Please never place paper towels or sanitary napkins in the toilet…it will definitely clog the toilet and cost your host $150.00 for a plumber. Toilet paper is OK
--Always lock the door when entering and leaving = (Pull door tight to lock)
- Never let strangers into the building or into my apartment. Yes, this happened once-
- I prefer guests that are out during the day. I work from home and need the days to myself.
- Please keep in mind the breakfast menu is only for breakfast.
- Last but not least…please be aware that other guests may use the shower and sink after you. Remove any hair left after your shower or use of the sink…thanks so much.
-The living room is considered a "Shared Space" because a single guest will be using it from time to time. It is not a communal space. It's advertised as a "Shared Space" because guests will walk through to get to their room.
DIRECTIONS FROM ALL 3 AIRPORTS.......
1- The taxi is the easiest and most expensive mode of transportation located outside of every terminal....usually costing as much as $50.00 plus tolls to get to this apartment. Just a note: recently two of my guest were ripped off because they did not take a yellow metered cap into the city. It cost them $260.00....(outrageous) Please take a yellow, metered taxi to be safe and not get ripped off. The Medallion and ID number is posted up front in the cab in case of questions... if you have any problems write down their name and number to report them to the taxi and limousine commission.
2- The super shuttle (blue bus) is the second cheapest mode of transportation (reservation must be made) Go Airlink NYC: Share ride Shuttle or Sedan and SUV ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN))
By Private Shuttle...The Super Shuttle (blue bus $25.00) is cheaper than a taxi and will drop you off at your chosen destination- caveat: you share the service with others, so yours might not be the driver's first stop.... ..Remember it is courteous to tip the driver.
-From JFK....The JFK AirTrain transports passengers from the airport to a connecting train which then takes travelers into Manhattan. The AirTrain has two stops. The Howard Beach station has a connection to the A train. If taking the A train, be sure to only take the A train marked "Far Rockaway" NOT "Lefferts Boulevard". (the A and E train are good for my guests going toward lower Manhattan and getting off at 14th St.) Once at 14th St gett off and take the L train to 1st Ave.
The LIRR takes riders to Penn Station from Jamaica in just under 40 minutes. (Also good for my guests) Travelers can get from the airport to Manhattan for as low as $7.25 Once at Penn Station take the 4,5,or 6 train to 14th St and get off. You may then take the L train to 1st Ave and walk to the apartment or...go to the street and take the M14D Bus East to East 12th St...get off and walk to 626 East 9th St Apt 2F Between Ave B and Ave C.
From LaGuardia....Travelers can hop on the M60 Bus which has transfers available along its route to the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, A, C, D, Q, and N trains, all of which transports travelers to their desired location around town. (the 2,3,4,5,6,A and C are good for my guests going to lower Manhattan towards 14th St)
My guests should always look for 14th St in lower Manhattan...once you reach 14th St get off and take the M14D Bus East to East 12th St ...get off and walk to 626 East 9th St Apt 2F Between Ave B and Ave C...Or transfer to the L train at 14th St and get off at 1st Ave and walk to 9th St.
From Newark...The 62 Bus ($1.25) stops at each terminal and takes travelers to the NJ Transit ($3.75) which then connects travelers to New York City trains at Penn Station....the Air Train offers connecting service to NJ Transit as well as Amtrak trains which both bring travelers into Manhattan. My guests should look for 14th Street in Lower Manhattan. Once you reach 14th St transfer to the L train and get off at 1st Ave and walk to 9th St ...Or get off at 14th St and take the M14D Bus East to East 12th St...get off and walk to 626 E 9th St Apt 2F Between Ave B and Ave C
