Welcome to my 100 year old home situated on the flat in St Kilda.
Come in the front door to a short hallway, the queen bedroom is on the left, on the right is the open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen. The single bedroom is off the dining area and an extra single bed is able to be put up in the lounge. Through the door in the dining area is the toilet and back door. The bathroom (shower over bath) is off the queen bedroom. Out the back door are two deck areas with seats and tables, set in my cottage garden. The heating is an efficient gas heatpump in the dining area. There are two laundromats within 3 blocks of the house and two clothes drying areas in my back yard (one under cover). Appliances in the kitchen are available for guests to use, including standard fan oven, bench top oven, microwave, dishwasher, 2 ring induction hob. There are pots, pans and utensils available, also condiments and basic pantry provisions. Television with Freeview, radio, piano, and a few board games/cards for your entertainment.
South Dunedin and St Kilda are situated on flat land. It is a 12 minute walk to St Kilda beach. A 20 minute walk to St Clair Esplanade to cafes, restaurants, surfing and salt water pools. Bus stop is two doors along with a regular service to the city centre or suburbs. It is an 8 minute drive to the Octagon (the city centre) and 10 minute drive to Forsyth Barr Stadium. It is less than 10 minutes to walk to Sth Dunedin shopping area where there is an eclectic mix of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and banks BNZ, WESTPAC, KIWIBANK, ANZ. At the north end of Bay View Rd, (less than 10 minute walk) is Countdown supermarket.
