I apologise for any inconvenience that was caused during your stay. However, i must disagree with the comments that you have made regarding the lack of water for two days.
You had confirmed stay from 10th August (Check in) till 12th August (Checkout), where you had checked out at 7am on the 12th August.
You had only made contact on the 11th August (Evening time) that you had an issue with the water supply. In regards to the water supply, it was reported on the 11th August from the tenants in the flat below, that there was a leak coming from the flat.
I can provide confirmation from both the tenants and the plumber that many attempts to reach someone at flat to address this issue. There was no one at the flat, during this period of time, which resulted in the main water supply having to be turned off immediately to stop and minimise the impact of the leak. It was confirmed that the leak into the flat below had derived from the flat, where it was possible that a running tap had been left unattended. Since, no one was present at the flat, this could was not checked and a last result, the water supply was turned off.
A note was left by the plumber, which you had sent to me, that stated the reason why the water supply had been stopped (ie the flat downstairs had reported dampness).
I did try my utmost to ensure that the water supply could have been turned back on or find an alternative solution but due to the time threshold of this been out of working hours and a weekend, it was difficult to rectify this situation any sooner. The water supply was put back on the next working day (which can also be confirmed).
Please note, we have numerous amounts of guests who stay every week, some on multiple occasions in the year and we have never incurred any issues with water leaks, dampness or water supply stoppage.
We expect as a minimal that guests treat the flat as if it were there own home and take responsibility to ensuring that all water supplies are turned off, no electrical are left running and that the flat bears no safety risk upon departure - Especially if they are expecting to be out for more than a few hours of the day.
